Fasting today?

Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.
Please don't make extra threads in here besides the daily fasting threads, if you've got a question please post it in the relevant forum or ask in today's 'Fasting Today' thread, thank you.

 oh yeh, take that Festive Food. 21 hours into my first liquid fast for well over a week. Thought I'd battle, but been easy so far. Lovely warm weather, so just drinking lots of water and pottering around doing all the "just back from holiday" things I need to do.
I am in with you KataMac! I also thought it would be harder after all the extra eating but the day has gone surprisingly smoothly. I spent a fair while gardening this afternoon and am now reading The Book Thief, want to finish the book before I see the film next week.

Good luck to anyone else out there liquid-fasting! :clover:
:clover: Great stuff KataMac and AiriR - I'm also getting back on it today. I have to say I'm a bit hungry already and it's only 9:50am here! Oh well, I'll drink loads of clear fluids and keep busy and hopefully it will be tomorrow morning before I know it! So glad to have got to the end of all that rich food and drink though :-)
I'm in again today. I did one on Saturday, which is the first time I've done one at the weekend, and I felt great. So back to normally this week......well, there will be lots of alcohol on Hogmanay and steak pie on the 1st but another normal liquid fast on Thursday.
Back in again today with a liquid fast. Hopefully it's as easy as Monday, then I'm all back on track. Great to know i can go a week or two with not much fasting and only walking for exercise, and not put on weight or lose fitness.

I'm also now in the happy place of being 11 kg less than I was this time last year, when I felt awful and sluggish and knew I had to do something about it. Thanks 5:2, intermittent fasting for the win
Morning all. Happy New Year !

I'm in today, first fast since mid December

Still feel like pants, with the cold-that-won't-go-away. But its a nice easy day today, all our entertaining/visiting is over, just me and my youngest in the house, with some homework for him to do, and housework for me.

I have got rid of all the leftovers, so very little temptation, looking forward to cleaning the kitchen, then only using it to make a couple of simple meals for my son today.

I'm going to start a blog on here to help me stick to my NY health resolutions.

Good luck everyone
I'm in again today for my second liquid fast today. That's is all our festivities over now and will be putting the decorations away today. Looking forward to getting into low carbing next week.
Morning campers - good to see this thread back on here again  Did a LF yesterday and really enjoyed it... oh yes! Normal 5 day today, but another LF tomorrow - all the days are a bit upside down at the moment still aren't they! Good luck for today everybody and may see some of you others on here again tomorrow (normal service returning for most of us next week I'm sure) :clover:
