Morning all

I haven't done a LF for a couple of weeks, looking forward to getting back to it today. I'm still gaining and losing the same few pounds since my hols, so want an ordered week and some routine back. Feeling better this morning after not drinking yesterday. But rotten sore throat that won't go away.

Anyone else in today?
I'm in, I quite like my liquid fast on a Monday. Feel like I need it :wink: had our annual bbq on Saturday so plenty to eat and drink. Body needs a break - lol!
Yep, zero cal day after a weekend with loads of food & wine. It's raining, hopefully I'll manage to ignore it and get myself out running my 10 km. Should have done it yesterday morning instead.
I'm in today. Had a sneaky peak at the scales this morning and it looks like I had a good weekend :shock: . I've been eating quite poorly on non fast days recently but the problem at the moment is that we are starting to rip out our kitchen so it's going to be a bit difficult to cook good food for the next wee while.
I'm in today, did two fasts last week and a half fast on Saturday but the scales are not being kind! Definitely think I've been overeating on non fast days but back to work tomorrow so expecting life to get back to normal again and for the scales to start shifting downwards again. Going to enjoy my last day as much as possible! :0)

I have got my Pc repaired and updated so I am back with you.
I am in today; maintaining, so just one fast day a week.

Off work today, planning to sort car, travel and home insurance which are all due this month.

I'm in too. Have really come to enjoy my Monday fasts, it's like re-calibrating the body after the weekend. :smile: I have a four-day trip away coming up on Thursday so want to make sure I get my weekly fasts in before that (which means just one normal day between them instead of the usual two); should not be too hard when thinking of all the delicious meals I'll be having on the weekend...

Already past family dinner time here thank goodness, so not too far to go now. Hope everyone else is doing well too!
I'm in too. I have found today really hard, been ravenous all day. Eventually had a cuppa with milk in my tea, and that seems to have helped. That and a nice fast game of indoor soccer!

I have stalled in weight loss for 3 months now. I've been pretty okay about it, thinking it's okay as long as it's not going up, but I'm getting a bit frustrated now. Been trying some things (a few 4:3s, a 3 day juice fast etc, making sure I get my 10,000 steps/day) but nothing has budged. Getting frustrated which is making me binge eat on non fast days (probably why I'm so hungry today).
*wiping chocolate smears off my face and drinking last sip of tea*

Right, all ready for my 36 hour liquid fast :D
Completed fast yesterday, have to say found it a tough one! Back to work today for an inset day and lowest weight ever this morning which was heartening after a bit of a stall in progress of late, only to be expected with summer hols I think! Now back to reality!
10am and drinking a cup of green tea.

68.2kg this morning, so hoping that after my fast today, it FINALLY drops below to 67kg. Even 67.9 would do me. Once it's been under, I know it's on the way down, so it'll hover between 68 and 67 for a while before 67 becomes the new set point. (Yes, I'm playing a head game here, but I've stopped fighting it and just go with it. When I try and fight it, I start obsessing about food and binge eat.)
I think I'm in again today. I'm choked up with a summer cold, my sinuses are killing me and my nose is like a river. That's the first time I've had a cold since I started 5:2. I'll see how the day goes but I'll definitely be having an early night tonight.
Hope you feel better soon wildmissus - I'm just getting over exactly what you describe, and its the first time I've been ill since 5:2 as well.

I dont know what to do about fasting this week, my schedule is all off balance.I think I'll be in tomorrow

I've been fasting today, kept busy with work and feeling alright! Hope you feel better soon wildmissus, what was the sibling rivalry outcome? Who was the biggest loser?? :0)
Summer colds are horrible - for me, they feel worse than winter ones - in winter, it seems appropriate to snuggle up with loads of cups of tea and sniff and feel sorry for oneself! (Although happily I rarely get colds now.) Hope it goes quickly Wildmissus.

Yes! 67.8kg. Eventually heading down again.
