36hr liquid fasting 3rd feb

I started my fast yesterday and then ate lunch! Opps! Considering that a 16:8 day! Managed to fast today so still on track although weight did a big leap up yesterday which may have been what led to my downfall! Still listening to my Paul McKenna nightly and on day 20! Not convinced it's made much difference, although perhaps am snacking less, strangely he does a bit of confidence work in the sessions and I'm definitely less stressed and happier so I think it's had some positive effects, just not on the scale! Oh well, going to stick with it and hopefully the scales will follow at some point! Happy fasting all :0)

Good luck! would be interested to hear some more about how listening to Paul McKenna is working out.

Second fast of the week today and going well so far! We seem a little thin on the ground with liquid fasts this week! @jeninboston I started Paul mckenna's I can make you thin app as I knew I was overeating on normal days and wanted to rein it in a bit! At the end of the 21 day programme and mixed ideas really, overall it's been positive, I feel more confident and it's made me more mindful so I've definitely been less inclined to shovel food in! It hasn't made me chew each mouthful 20 times, but I have noticed I'm putting my knife and fork down more between mouthfuls! I think as he suggests at the beginning you will only take from it what you need that may be why different people have different experiences, but overall I'd say it's had some effect, but not life changing!
