Well, I'm not expecting much traffic given how quiet Thursday's thread was, but here goes:

I am in today for my third fast of the week. I'm on my second coffee and just finished my egg. I woke up quite hungry today, but hopefully I'll be okay. I'm counting on the excitement of my trip to Tokyo to keep me going…

@MaryAnn I'm fasting with you, thought I better get one under my belt before I start Bean's challenge. Hoping fasting a bit more frequently short term will help with some of my bad food choices on non fast days. Good luck to anyone else fasting on Good Friday.

I'm in too, sort of third of three.
Lightish day yesterday as I was slightly suffering but needed food. So aiming for a good Good Friday fast.

Well I heard the words Good Friday and I thought I might fast...then I woke at 4am, ate2 gourmet hot X buns and realised it was now bad Friday! It has continued to be bad (but delicious) Friday :-) I'll wet fish myself for Sunday. Good luck all.

I am fasting today, on good Friday. I've been window fasting (almost 21/3) for nearly 39 days, since the beginning of Lent. I have lost a couple of kilos. But I have not reached my 'goal weight' (for the third time) yet. Lots of people are really fasting today, not only on this Forum. So I thought I'll join in. Will not have any snack at 15:00, apart from a bit of milk in my tea. Supper tonight will be two boiled eggs and some raw vegetables, with some Mayonnaise and low carb bread. I hope we all will make it until food is allowed again. :smile:

I'm in today too.
So far the only calories today has been a splash of milk in tea at lunch time.
Dinner will be a 400 calorie ready meal of haggis, mash potato and turnips.
I still can't believe it's only 405 calories as it's a good sized portion and very filling.
If I'm pecking later on I might have one crisp bread with something on top.
Hope you're all having a great day fasting or not x

I'm here too today, and nearing the end point. Visitors coming this evening, I'm doing salmon fillets in the oven, with dill, spring greens, green beans , new potatoes for others, fresh fruit and a glass of wine? Won't do me too much harm I think especially if I can keep it to one glass! I will have fasted well up to that point and went to the gym as well.

Oh sorry, @SSure. I went to Tokyo for the cherry blossoms, and for a cheese party, and to visit friends. It was fun, but it's good to be home.
