Fast Friday, May 1
01 May 2015, 00:13
Wow, it's May already! Who is in today? I'm on my second coffee. I didn't sleep well last night, so it's going to be a rough day.

Anyway, good luck Friday fasters! :clover: :clover:

Hi @MaryAnn thanks for kicking this off. I'm in too today - third fast of the week as part of @nursebean's April DODO challenge which actually finishes on 7 May. Sorry you didn't sleep well. I have recently started taking magnesium powder for foot cramps and a big side effect is that I am sleeping beautifully! One tea, one coffee, a gallon of water and a handful of grapes so far today. Going out for dinner tonight so will have to make a healthy choice. I am driving so I won't be tempted and weakened by the demon drink. Happy Friday fasting everyone.

Have a good day Friday fasters. :clover: I'm back on track, gym, lots to drink, busy day ahead and supper planned. It has been a difficult week beating myself up about so much over eating. I notice it is not as extreme as it was before 5:2 and that cheers me up. AND Out of the blue yesterday, a work colleague said "my goodness you do look slim these days" I ought to write that out and pin it up on the fridge! and so I am encouraged and once again determined to get un- bloated.

Hello everyone, looking forward to having a bank holiday weekend at home so planning all those lovely BBQ foods.
Today may be a slightly higher cal fast day but when you're DODOing it's not as bad.

Morning all! I'm with you today for DODO fast #13......the end is in sight!!!

@katharina, I really struggle with the feed days too. Some days they are ridiculous! Or should I say..I am ridiculous. Out of control. Mindless. Shocking. What has helped me most, though, are the words "work in progress". I am trying to undo years of comfort eating.....and Rome wasn't built in a day! So I keep that phrase in mind.

Each new day offers an opportunity & it is important to let go of yesterday & start with a clean slate...I believe. Hold on to how thrilling it was that someone commented on your progress - it's showing....and that's great! Keep on keeping on, because you are moving in the right direction.....brilliantly!

Hi there Friday fasters. I'm in today busing packing Mins bag, she's off to the Peak District tonight with Scouts for a weekend of climbing, biking and hiking! Then I'm off to work for the late shift which means I won't see her until Monday evening :(. Still she will be having fun and I'll be busy working :( mmm think I'd rather be hiking in the Peaks though!
Have a good fast peeps x

I'm here as well. Determined to get through this day to make up for Wednesday and Thursday feasts. Hoping the scale tomorrow will be kind. Not sure if I will be working today. My son is freaking out. He has been sick all week and is freaked out that he can't talk properly or hear out of one ear. I think the ear is just plugged with wax. I'm hoping I can get him in to see the doctor before or after work, perhaps that will reassure him and calm him down. If I stay home I won't be able to help him anyway, doesn't matter what I say he just screamed at me with his squeaky voice. He is crying now. I get so frustrated when I don't know how to calm him down. I'm waiting for the doctor's office to open.

As far as fasting goes, it will be so much easier if I work till 2:30 so a good part of the day will be done. I already have a plan for my two low cal meals and have decided to do a low cal induction phase starting tomorrow. Hopefully, that will kick start some weight loss.

Wish me luck with the doctor! And happy fasting! We can do it!

I'm in for my third fast day of the week. I ate too much on the other two fast days, although still less than 1000. I'm hungry and it's 1/2 hour until dinner. But my weight's lower than last month.

When you're sitting at work typing up the minutes from yesterday's meeting, doing your today job, giving advice, scoffing a bag of crisps....and you remember you're on a fast day! ........Yeah that.
WTH?... I've been fasting long enough, I mean I do it every other day....you'd think I'd remember I'm fasting......obviously not! DOH!
Oh and @Nursebean don't worry about me... I shall be having a lie in in the morning before work because I don't have to get up early to do the dance school run. I'm gonna party hard this weekend, well after I've finished work. While the cats away the mice will play :)
