In again for maintenance fast. Beakfast had, mini protein bar packed. Lunch about 3.30 when I get home. Good luck all.

All on my lonesome? Maybe other fasters are still on Monday time. I'm on my way home on the train, looking forward to lunch as i'm starving!

Have a good fast day, GMH!

I'll join you GMH. Unintentionally as I have had stomach cramps getting progressively stronger as the day has gone. It feels like there's a brick in my stomach. The buscapan the chemist gave me is wearing off early.I don't know whether its from trying a bit of abalone last night for the first time or whether I've caught my sons digestive bug. Needless to say I have no desire to eat anything. Problem is now I don't know if I should cancel my casual teaching day tomorrow now or see how I feel in the early morning?

I'm joining you for my normal Tuesday fast. It's funny how I seem to think I'll never make it on a Monday evening, but come Tuesday morning, it all seems to fall into place. Chilly here this morning, but I haven't felt too cold on a fast day yet this year.
Good luck everyone :clover:

I'm in today too. BUT - I've a launch party this evening for something rather interesting a colleague has done ... & a bookclub meeting (with nibbles) & a theatre trip (eating out) later in the week & I'm going away for the weekend. Not ideal, but today really is my best possible diet day. I'll have a 'normal' 5/2 day (soup lunch; soup & chicken dinner & a couple of satsumas) - but I 'saved' 200 calories from my calorie target yesterday so I can have a glass of wine & maybe a v. small canape this evening! Yes, I KNOW that's not a proper fast day, but I am trying. Only thing is, once I've got a glass of wine inside me, it remains to be seen how my resolve on refusing more, and avoiding calorie-laden yumminess (& crisps) holds out! Good luck to everyone else who's fasting today.

I'm in today as well. I hopped on the scales after a week away and was appalled by what I saw, who would have guessed that a week of unbridled eating and drinking would have that effect?

LOw cal soup for lunch then a sort of ratatoulie (well something like that) with quorn for dinner. Good luck everyone :clover:

I'm not fasting today (I did yesterday) but just popped in for a nosy around. Well done @SianS, for dealing with your weight gain so promptly. :star: :star: I have lots of experience of gaining hugely when away and find it goes quite quickly when dealt with immediately
@WarriorPrincess, perhaps you could not have the wine this evening and then you won't have to fight the alcohol munchies? I know that once I start eating, especially with 'nibbles' after wine, I find it very difficult to stop!
When I was teaching, @julianna, we always said to not come back for at least 24 hours after you had stopped vomiting. If your stomach is just 'churning' you may be fine to teach tomorrow but any sign of sickness or diarrhoea, then perhaps you should give it a miss.
@Egdufand @GMH, you are 'old hands' at this fasting, so I won't wish you good luck but just good wishes! :)
Enjoy your fasts everybody! Stay strong! :victory:

Well done everyone for fasting today. I hope its a good one (and a wine-free one  ) I am feeling very pleased with myself because I've bean away with the fairies (or bad food monsters) and just HAVEN'T bean able to get back into the fasting mode. Anyway, yesterday I fasted with just 400 calories...and all is well! I still haven't eaten anything yet but am rather looking forward to my lunch now.
When you do make an effort, its amazing how good you feel!
Enjoy the fast!

I'm in for a fast today! Hoping my brutal boot camp session doesn't make me too hungry today. It blunts my appetite for a few hours, but it may come roaring to life in a while. Green tea will have to suffice!

Have a good one!

Fast day nearly done, just Masterchef The Professionals to go. I kept busy clearing out cupboards, and going for a walk and had a relatively easy fast, though I think I have probably gone a bit over the 500 cals.

I have been fasting today as usual. Just late to post and greet. I hope that everyone had as successful a day as I have had. I'm hoping for a turn round to my weight story. I haven't put on a lot in the past month in spite of the health crisis with my OH but the weight loss is gradual as we all know. Now he's doing very well and we are getting our routine more normal again. My OH won't be fasting for a while yet but he supports me.

Happy fast day everyone. It's possible I may have gone over today as Himself was cooking and he'd planned sausage balls with veg and brown rice. I don't normally do rice or pasta on fast days but I don't think I'll be too much over. I'm doing well this week compared to previous weeks...months and hopeful for a long awaited loss at the weekend. I've started logging what I eat on here in the hope it will stop me eating so much nonsense. It seems to be working so far.

Got through it - social bit of my colleague's book launch on one teeny glass of fizz & 6 Japanese Rice Crackers! A 750 cal day, not 500 - but yesterday & today together are only 50 cals over target ... which I'll work off on a treadmill at the gym tomorrow evening!

Congrats to everyone who stuck to 500 cals today.
