Fast Tuesday 3.3.15

Reduced calorie day for me again. Feeling a bit bloated and in need. Porridge n coffee so far. Protein bar packed. Something for late lunch then hopefully an early night as work is heating up and sleep has been getting shorter. Up at 5am today to go meet new client with 2 dogs, but only 15 dogs to walk today plus my 2 later, so early finish. Good luck fast folk.

I'm in too. I had chosen Monday & Thursday as my fast days but as yesterday was a public/bank holiday and my adult children were coming for afternoon tea which almost always leads to staying for dinner (it did) I decided that Tuesday would be better.

It's 11.45am here and so far I've had 6 hot lemon waters and small nectarine (40cal). The rest of my day looks like:

1.00pm: Cup of miso (22cal)
3.00pm: Raw veggies (71cal)
6.00pm: Apple (51cal)
7.30pm: Cauliflower & kale soup (81cal) with steamed assorted greens with a splash of tamari (139cal)
9.30pm: 18g pack of fine fettle tomato & basil crackers (61cal) and a plum (26cal)
Totaling up to 491cal

Hopefully I'll be able to get an early night though as I am an evening picker :confused:

It's early here on the 3rd Tues, and some in the world are already through the day successfully! I'm also fasting today as ever, just starting out and hoping for a good one again. Have a good day everyone. :clover:

Hi everyone! Hope your fasting day is going well? :) Today is my second fast since I startet 5:2, and the first of two for this week.
Not sure if I can rely on the numbers, but when I startet last thursday, my belly measure was 95 cm. This morning it was 94 (maaaaybe 93,5 :razz: ) But I am pretty sure that is lack of caught in air. I am pretty bothered with air in my stumach, and allways have been, since I was a baby actually. And the first think I noticed back when I was on LCHF diet, the air and blouted belly was the first thing to go! The size of my stomach is one of my main reasons for going on 5:2. I feel like I am pregnant, when I am not. Even worse, I feel that everyone else thinks I am to....

I didnt have breakfast today. I usual dont either, but is there some sort of "rule" wich says I should while fasting?
Allso, I am planning og eggplant "pizza slices" for dinner today. Excited :)

Hungry all morning! Grrrr! Could eat a horse between two bread vans!
@Norwegian_Girl good luck with yr second fast!no rule in how to use yr fast day calories,its whatever works best for you.
Many of us save all or the bulk of our precious calories for an evening meal,as we feel eating earlier in the day just wakes up the Hunger Monster and makes us want to keep on eating
Others like to have a little brekky or / and lunch..and/ or teatime snack
Of course whatever you have means you have less cals left for later.
I often have a cuppasoup around 4 pm as its hot and salty and keeps me going til dinnertime
You have to experiment,see what works for you x
This WOE seems to work very well on the old tum..the shrinkage of my tum has been the most noticeable loss,and on my legs too.Places ive never lost before. Dieting usually means i lose from bust,face and fingers while everywhere else stays stubbornly chunky!X

Today is my second fast day and so far, so good. I have no great hunger pangs as I haven't eaten anything. I find that eating even one small item of food makes me want more so I only eat in the evening on a fast day. It works for me and I do back-to-back days as I find that easier. I also calorie count on my non-fast days because it's a sort of discipline and routine and I find that helps. I keep a food diary too. Good grief, I sound a bit nerdy but I really only do it to keep myself on track. Good luck everyone fasting today.

My first fast day this week. Just had a lovely weekend in Vittebo, Rome staying at a mineral spa hotel, so lots of lovely bathing but also tasty meals so definitely need today. I also count calories on non fast days (with the exception of this past weekend!) aiming to stay around 1300. Stay strong everyone

Been a tough old day today! One of thise dats when i don't think fasting is something i can keep doing week in week out :confused:
Ahh well i made it thru and....
THE KITCHEN IS NOW CLOSED! Til tomorrow!
