@CandiceMarie ok. I have started the dreaded report, but then have also been consumed by other urgent work. I'll be burning that mid night oil me thinks. What have you been swerving, cum on coff it up!
So onto more important details for everyone. Our dinner was a small fillet of sea bass cooked in coconut oil, garlic and lemon, served on a bed on steamed courgettes, fennel and herbs. 350 cals? I have not felt hungry today as I drank enough tea and water for GB so that should do me well, I hope so.
The kitchen door will be firmly closed after the washing up ceremony that's about to begin. well apart from muc needed tea and water.
Good luck to our Tuesday fasters :clover:

I've been fasting today too and it's been difficult. We've been away for a week and spent yesterday travelling: a drive, cross-channel ferry and then a 5 hour drive home. We eventually got home at 2:30 a.m. this morning! I slept until 9 and then did some unpacking and tidying away. I've done about 3 hours gardening to try and keep my mind off food and a ..short walk this evening because I was still hungry after my meal. I've calculated my calorie intake as 586 which is a bit more than the 545 I'm supposed to have. I only managed one fast day last week because we were staying with family but I stayed the same weight. Tired and hungry is not a good combination but I'm feeling pleased that I've done it, even though the calorie count is a bit high.

I've been in today - just forgot to post. Feel quite glad to be back on the straight & narrow - I've decided chocolate is quite over-rated ... though it took a fair bit of sampling over the last 2 days to reach that decision!
I've been so good today its got to after 8pm & I've a cup of tea beside me & calories available for another before bedtime. Amazing!
I'm not in for the DODO - I've too much else going on - but good luck to all who are.

Well I've got the first day of the DODO challenge over - it felt ok and I think I might have got my fasting mojo back after eating WAY too much chocolate of late. I have had to alter one aspect of fasting though - I used to go all day on a fast day and eat nothing until tea time but lately I have noticed that if I do that I get really bad palpitations and loads of extra beats which is unpleasant - and I am sure it is related to reduced blood glucose and fasting because it stops when I eat. Maybe it's because my blood sugar is generally lower (and I'm not diabetic, I just check it now and again which sounds neurotic and obsessional I know, but it's in my family) but the last time I had bad palpitations my blood sugar was 2.7 so too low and I read somewhere hypoglycaemia can cause them. So now I am having a yoghurt midday and today no palpitations.

Looking forward to the rest of the challenge. Hope everyone is hanging in there! :-)

I had a salad with feta cheese and home-made dressing for dinner and it was a really good day - until I hosted the WI Committee meeting at my home and had to provide biscuits! I resisted them until after everyone had gone home but then two just popped into my mouth when I was putting them away!
However, it is not in my nature to worry about things like that, so I shall look on this as a day which is still much lower in calories than if I had not been fasting - so still a win for me!

Note to self: Forget about the biscuits! Forget about the biscuits! Forget about the biscuits!

By the way, @CandiceMarie, I really like your new crockery! I bet it makes everything taste extra special.
