Fast Tuesday October 2st 2014
20 Oct 2014, 20:54
I'm in again doing maintenance fast of up to 1000 cals, seem to stop at 750/800 most fasts. This is fast 3 in the last 4 days, so feeling a bit ready to eat tomorrow :-) Good luck fellow fasters.
I'm in too. Seem to shadow you @GMH on your days, but not your strength and resolve!
Flitting (moving house) today so not quite sure how I'll do. Will at the least get a good 16:8. It all depends if I can find the box with the food in it and if the cooker is connected. If not , it'll be takeaway!
Happy fasting all. :clover:
@janeg :clover: good luck. Moving house is hideous (being a gypsy I have done it at least 30 times...oops), hope never to do it again, so good luck with fast on the move. My resolve is because of a couple of things: overindulged last week, trying to find a maintenance method that doesn't feel like dieting (not there yet :-)) and I am off to the UK & Ireland for Xmas/New Year to see old friends. Yes we are all old now, all 60+ but it seems like yesterday that we were partying like young fools in London and Sydney, tho it is 30+ years ago. So I know we will be partying like young fools for a week, so I want to get 2kg below goal, not that they care, they don't like skinnies LOL, but I don't want to get back looking like a porker! So I will have to do a few 500 cal fasts in the next 8 weeks.
I'm joining you Tuesday fasters :like:

Looking forward to it too as I'm feeling a little bloated today (after having pasta for my tea yesterday  )

Horrendous weather here and got soaked to the skin walking the dogs so trying to warm up now with my black coffee.

Have a good fast everyone :clover:

:chicken2:
Hi fellow fasters :) just off for a dog walk ( after I've finished browsing the forums and my drinking coffee!) then sticking with water and more black coffee until dinner tonight.
Embrace your fast and good luck x
Good luck girls, had my fast yesterday but won't break it til lunchtime today with a salad. Sitting here waiting for the tornado to hit, very wet and windy so it looks like no walk today, just sitting here reading, bliss, the ironing can wait, hee hee

Ballerina x
I'm in too, I desperately need to get back on track as my weight is now nearly a stone over my goal and 6lbs over my 'red line' weight.
Fasting today and Thursday and back on MFP logging calories. Happy Days

Wet and windy here in Kent but I have to go out in it :frown:
I'm in again has a successful day yesterday but will not have another suitable day later in the week so have decided to go for it today. @janeg hope your move goes well and that you settle in quickly. Here's to a good easy fast for all Tuesday fasters. :like: :clover: :victory:
I'm back in today after two 16:8s last week.

I had to set up a meeting with pastries galore first thing this morning, fortunately they weren't too appetising looking, so easy to just stick to the coffee. Going surprisingly well so far, finished my last meal relatively early last night (7.00 pm), so quite happy at the moment.

Apparently it's world pasta day today - not for me though.

Good luck to all :clover:
I'm doing a proper fast today, the first for ages and it's hard work. Was Maintaining sucesfully through most of the summer then went to see friends in France at the end of August, ate and drank for 10 days cheese bread and wine were my downfall. Had put on 5lb when we got home I wasnt too worried as normally when I resume 5:2 it goes but this time I only lost 2 lb in 5 weeks and then we went away again. The upshot is I am now nearly 7lb above my goal so today is the first day of sticking to 5:2 like glue to try and loose it.
Hi folks!

I'm doing my usual Thursday fast today as I am going to a conference tomorrow and won't be fasting until I get home next week. So far, so good, even though I fasted on Sunday too.
I had a good fast today, and still have 150 calories available for this evening - plenty to keep the bedtime rumbles at bay.
I'll be back for more on Thursday
7.30pm here in Oxfordshire, got that feeling where I want it to be bedtime because I don't feel hungry if I'm asleep haha. Fast day almost done.

Already know I've got a fruit scone for brekky tomorrow, mmm
Think I may have gone over today as had sausage for tea(they were fat ones but I had two as opposed to three) and then had lots of baking to do. I was quite good but sometimes you need to test these things. Might try and and make up for it on Thursday. Hope you all had a good day.
