Fast Wednesday 4th Feb
03 Feb 2015, 19:41
Have to commit to this before I go off the rails...again! 1000 cal maintenance fast, will soon be 500 cal fasts if I don't smarten up my act. I think I'll have wet fish today  porridge and coffee thus far, mini protein on board. Tired and busy day ahead with rain predicted this afternoon, just in time for walking Humbug abd Danny  hopefully it will all pass quickly. Good luck fasters

Good morning GMH. I'm joining the Wednesday fasters today. I am working on Wednesdays this year and may well permanently change my fasting day from Thursday to Wednesday because it is so much easier to fast when you are at work. No time to eat. No good food on hand. Easy to get ready for work in the morning when all you have to do is scoff a black coffee and no lunch to prepare. And tonight we are driving to Hobart so I will have dinner on the road, something light at Campbelltown. Not pasta. Not pizza. It's my first day back at work after the summer holidays so here goes! Have a good one GMH. Just for today.

I'm in! Have a great fast all!
@SallyO I'm also changing from a Thursday to a Wednesday fast, although maybe only for this week. I work 5 days a week, and could never fast at the weekend, too much temptation around!

Thanks for kicking us off - altho' it's Tuesday night, it counts as part of my regular Wednesday 4:3 fast day. I find it helpful to think about my fasts in this way.

:clover: to my fellow mid-week fasters.

I have swapped from Thursday too - I will probably be eating out tomorrow so makes things easier. I quite like doing Wed instead of Thurs, gets it out of the way!!
Best wishes to all of today's fasters. :clover:

I'm in - usual Weds fast for me. I've started having my meal at lunchtime and then nothing till the next day and I find it far easier than I thought I would.

Am fasting today as well. 2nd one for the week. Did Mon, Wed & Fri last week but ate like there was going to be a famine the rest of the time. So sadly no weight loss. Am going to try Mon and Wed only this week and watch carefully what I eat the rest of the week.

I'm in with a semi-fast today, more than 500 calls but less than 1000, and low carbs.
Cross trainer, then a walk then some furniture shifting should burn a few calories. Have a good one

Posting from the appartment in Hobart , overlooking St David's park. Good drive down. Dinner in Cambelltown but I succumbed to fettuccini marinara. Happy to report I left at least half of my serve on my plate. Didn't eat at all for the rest of the day so I might have scraped in.

I'm on it today. My stomach is feeling empty but I'm not actually hungry at the moment. I think I might wait it out to have my tuna salad & egg white lunch until I feel really hangry.

I'm in today. Finding it difficult this week. Monday's fast turned into a binge, ate everything not nailed down and drank a whole ( yes whole!) bottle of Oyster Bay SB!! Another failed attempt to fast yesterday but at least I ate reasonably sensibly. Stern talking to and hopefully I have put it behind me.

@SkinnyJeans thanks for your post.. beieve it or not it is encourgaing to me. I'm not the only one to slip on a fast day  However this week is going well. I keep telling myself this is a life long change and one slip up don't matter in the big picture.

I'm in for today! My kids are eating candy all around me. I keep looking at the callories on the candy bag telling myself I can't have those today because it will blow my 500 goal. So I took 4 and put them in the freezer for tomorrow

@sallyo well done on leaving some on yr plate
Having done the same when dining out last week,i know it takes great strength of mind to do!
Hmm a few of you have mentioned swapping to Wednesdays..giving it some thought myself - would get it out the way,but then its four days til fasting again,so might be hard to take up the challenge again
Will miss you sallyo and co if you do decamp to wednesdays and if i don't!

I'm in again today and remarkably I haven't felt hungry at all throughout the day. I've just had my dinner - Hairy Dieters One Pot Pork and a 10cal jelly. Job done. Planning to be in bed by 9pm tonight.
