Fasting Friday, June 20
20 Jun 2014, 04:27
My Friday fast just got converted to a half-fast because my friends are bringing wine and cheese to the jazz concert tonight. I'll carry on throughout the day as usual, and try to not go overboard for "dinner".

Good luck Friday fasters!

It comes round quickly and I'm fasting today too. Enjoy it @MaryAnn, the jazz concert with friends is a good reason for a half fast! My fast will be less than 500 cals ( I have to eat less having lost weight) : starting with a few blueberries with yoghurt and flax seed, black coffees..... herb teas.....bouillon at midday....... prawns and a large mixed salad tonight. Perfect in this hot weather.
Have a good fasting repair day everyone :clover:

and I'm in today too. It's the weekend and Beloved is off diving so I'm on my lonesome which makes it easy.
Busy day sorting stuff out and cooking planned. Batch of bread proving and eyeing up the cookery books.
Have shredded already and had the necessary coffee. It's 46C out there.  I'm not going anywhere!
Still waiting to hear about our holiday plans and if work is going to have to happen. Wanting to know so I can get the meetups organised
@MaryAnn jazz sounds good - jazz and shiraz?
@Debs what is your new plan? Just lunchtime eating?
Have a good fast fellow friday fasters :clover:

If I remember rightly from Varaday's book, people who ate lunch tended to loses more weight didn't they? So you should be ok @Debs Personally, I don't think I could do it, at least at the mo. Once my shop,is up and running I will be able to occupy myself better in the evenings. Will be interested to know how you get on Debs

Anyway, I'm in today and hopefully I won't go over my 500 cals like I did last time.

Have a great day everyone

Bean xx

Hi guys,
Had my nuts at lunchtime. It is now 6.30pm and I'm fine until tomorrow so this should be interesting. Having a day off with pizza, red wine and a quiz night tomorrow, my one of the week. Sympathise with you Janeg with the temperature, not conducive to going anywhere is it?!

I'm in for my third fast of the week. I was at a kitchen gadget demonstration party thingy last night. The wifey demonstrated the gadgets by making lots of mostly healthy dishes of food for us to try. The only problem was that it was 10pm before we got to eat. That means I'm still full up this morning so not sure how I will feel later on today.

Well, I just got on the scale and it wasn't good. So I think I'm going to have a semi-fast today. I am going out tonight, so I will not be able to stick to my 500 calories. But, I think I'm going to try to go without breakfast or lunch and just eat tonight!

I'm in today for my 3rd fast of the week. It's been an easy week for me but I'm glad it's weekend already. I've been really busy today, DD's last day of school today so school summer holiday starts now and last for 3 months. I've been to the schools fun day to see DD do a skating dance with her skating group, they were very good. Must go food shopping now, not something I like to do on a fastday but if it needs doing it needs doing. Anyway I'm feeling really strong at the mo so it'll be fine. Hope you're all having a great fastday. :).

I'm also fasting for a third time this week in the hope it will boost my weight loss! Getting rather desperate now to really lose weight regularly again after a very iffy six months.
Hope you all have a good fast day it's so far so good for me wading through lots of washing & ironing.

I'm in too, its coming to its end with my eldest cooking up a ham and vegetable lagane to break our fast with. I've managed to keep busy enough that I got this far, but the smells of the garlic are driving me to distraction.
