Hmm, I was 59.9 kg again this morning, so the weight ain't crashing down. But Sassy counseled me not to worry about it, so I do not. Tomorrow is Sunday and I am thinking of not fasting then. Bacon and eggs for breakfast, yum. Tonight I am making a vegetarian Chili Sin Carne.
This Lenten fast is really meant to be for 40 days. From Ash Wednesday to Easter is longer than 40 days. So by eating on Sundays it becomes about 40 days of fasting
, I am also attempting to be vegetarian these 40 days. I adapt my Chili Con Carne recipe, for example, by replacing the salt pork with "soy meat".
