I have a Christmas dinner this evening so I'll fast tomorrow instead.
So I've already had my morning espresso. Now I've moved on to my Marco Polo tea by Marriage Freres (one of the few black teas I enjoy without adding any milk or sugar). I'll make a smoothie with hemp protein powder at maybe 1 or 2pm. Then tonight it's a chicken breast and a big pile of green beans with onions.
14 hours in, 22 more to go!
I'm in today, just now having my pot o' green tea (11am here). Planning on going to the skating rink tonight, weather has been horrible, not skateable outdoors.

You should try Xylitol. It's not 0 calories, but it tastes just like sugar without the poor aftertaste.
1tsp = 10 cal.

I can't eat anything with stevia in it - it tastes like chemical death to me, even though I know it's all natural. I have friends who swear splenda tastes like sugar, but I don't understand how they can say that.
Have you tried Xylitol? It's a natural sweetener. People that didn't like Stevia, Sucralose, Aspartame, etc., ended up liking Xylitol as it's the closest alternative to sugar without the poor aftertaste and harmful effects.
I'm not an artificial sweetener kind of person. I haven't put a sweetener in a drink in a long time. I'm actually trying to get away from craving the taste of sweet. So thank you for your recommendation, but I am going to continue to avoid any fake/non-caloric sweeteners.
In addition there's those studies showing that non-caloric sweeteners may not be good for you as they tend to make the brain think "oh good, calories are coming" and then pump out insulin to meet the calories -- which never show up.
I just don't think there's any good reason to use a non-caloric sweetener, aside from type 1 diabetes. Everyone else should simply try to wean themselves off the extreme amounts of sugar most people seem to eat.

Did you read my post at all? It's a natural sweetener aka. sugar alcohol broken down from fruits and vegetables.
1 tsp = 10 calories
So, it's neither fake nor is it zero calories.
No, I'm sorry but I didn't click on your link. I have no interest in any sugar substitutes - fake, natural, non caloric or caloric. I am interested in getting off the sugar addiction and the desire for sugary food.
