Hellooo!

I am fasting today. Originally I chose Mon & Thur as fast days but actually Tue & Fri seem to suit me better so here I am! It is my 5th Fast on the diet and I know what works best for me now. I don't have breakfast and I have 2 250/300 cal meals @ lunchtime and dinner time. I always dread fasting but as soon as I am doing it I actually embrace it and like it. Weird. I have to say I tend to overeat on the night before a fast but hopefully in time that will change.

Just had a Boots Shapers lunch totalling 270cals and I have planned a veg & quorn stir fry for dinner. Lots of water and a diet coke tend to keep me going.

I haven't actually weighed myself for a long time. I don't like the scales because they can so drastically change my mood. So I am going on clothes sizes and how I generally feel. I started off a size 16 and I am still a size 16 but things feel less tight! I would love to be back in my size 12/14 by Christmas.

Is anyone else at work? I find it easier fasting at work.

x

Brushing my teeth always helps me to make it through to bedtime without anything after dinner, if that helps anyone!

I'm fasting today, my first of the week. This is going to be one of the most stressful weeks of my life - the week I finish my career as a City lawyer. I'm still negotiating my exit with my firm, while at the same time handing work over to someone who has just returned from maternity leave. It feels a little crazy to keep fasting right now, but I'm actually not thinking that much about food. I keep telling myself that by this time next week it will all be over. I hope so!

I agree that it is easier fasting at work than at home, but from next week I'm going to be home all the time so I had better come up with a way to deal with it!

I'm fasting today, the first time for far too long. I've fallen off the wagon with the inevitable results. So frustrating, when I KNOW this works and I KNOW I can do it! I'm such a procrastinator - there's always some excuse to put it off until 'tomorrow', and tomorrow never comes. Oh well, I'm starting over again anyway.

I am back after a long break from the website but I have been trying to stick to the fasting as much as I could. I am still the same weight as I was when I stopped logging in but have had two holidays, two kids birthdays and 3 adult birthday parties in the interim, all of which I baked for! So all in all pretty delighted to have maintained. I fell off the wagon because I was on a serious plateau which was because on my non fast days I was completely out of control eating nothing of any nutritional value and gorging on chocolate. I feel like I have my head on straight now so onwards into then next stone hopefully. Glad to be back because I am sooooo hungry right now!

I have had a very productive day of chores and the house looks great.

My family are away for a couple of days which means I can set my dinner time whenever I want

At 2pm I had a late lunch of a bowl of my homemade soup from he freezer (65 cals) and some slim rice, so a 265 cal Fisherman's pie from waitrose and some runner beans from the garden, with enough calories left over for a Caramel Skinny Cow for desert.

Nearly there :like:

Sue I now have a mental picture of you toppling off a platform and landing on another one a sort of Sue.Q the Hedgehog

Hi Faster's it's my day too, my 2nd fast day which is going better than the 1st. I discovered Skinny noodles etc (Amazon) 200 gr pkts @ 7.7 cals per 100gr. I made a spicey veg soup from frozen mixed veg added the skinny noodles...bingo, lasts all day.
