Well I can't see it anywhere else, so.....who's in today?
I ' m in for my second fast of the week, hope you' ll join me putting our systems in for a restful day, while the fasting pixies do their work repairing us! X :like: what could be better!
I'm 4:3 so Friday is one of my usual 3. Sorely in need of this as we ate with friends last night and I ate substantially above my usual salt level (and I like salt but this was too much): My fingers are stiff and bloated.

Lots to get through today and many miles to go before I sleep.
@CandiceMarie@SSure - I'm not fasting today but popped in to cheer you both on. Looks like everyone is on hols or have overslept! Enjoy your fasts ladies :clover: :clover: :clover: :clover:
Im in today too. Its my third of the week, so I'm with you @ssure! Off on hols this Monday, so I'm trying to do a bit of damage control before I go. I am still maddeningly 1.4lbs from goal. No doubt the hols will add to that.

Im checking in early as I'm starving already. Its only coming up to 10.30am. Im flamin wrecked as hubby came to bed at 3am and was like a bull in a china shop. (He works shift) Im not a great sleeper, so once I am awake I find it hard to get back to sleep again. I was just settling when his flamin alarm went off at 6am....for no reason, as he didn't need to get up. So, it now feels like afternoon for me. It will be a looooooong day. coffee time, I think!
I'm in today, my first fast after my fortnights holiday and oh my I need it. I had a late night last night as I watched Good Will Hunting on TV which meant a bit of a lay in this morning. Lots and lots of washing and ironing still to do today to keep me busy.
hello- I'm joining you today as I wasn't able to do yesterday. Second of the week & anticipating a half fast tomorrow as yesterday was just beyond excessive :( Travelling next week, may need to try to fit my two in M/W. I am looking forward to the consistency going back to my work routine will bring starting the 25th. Feel like my control is slipperyas an eel...gotta snap out of it, I haven't even bought new underwear yet! Though my older stuff is falling off.....maybe I want it too badly?
I am fasting today too. I fast MWF and it lets me enjoy my sugar free high fat desserts on non- fast days. I had a large slice of strawberry cream cheese pie with a chocolate almond cookie crust last night and it was soooo good! Fasting has taken away my need to count calories/carbs and my NEED to over consume desserts!
Happy Fasting, Everyone!
Oh I'm surprised to see you here Candy...I thought you fasted yesterday

Anyway, this is my third of the week (am trying 4:3 at the moment). Feeling totally exhausted now...have nothing left to give, so am looking forward to eating my last piece of Hairy Lasagne that I made back in March (don't worry, it was in the freezer!) plus some runner beans on the side...mmmm

Hope its going well for the few of you who are fasting today. Friday is obviously not as popular a day to fast as Monday is

:starving:
I am a refugee from yesterday as did not do a fast .... Aah Tammae how could you right of such delicious stuff? ... not in this forum please :(

A bad night's sleep and then slept late so that sorted the early morning hours. so far just tea and a bovril but at 4 pm I will have some soup. Later on I will have a pile of veggies stir fried and maybe an egg thrown in. Veggies on their own are filling and tasty (garlic plus tom puree) but feel need for some protein in the mix as otherwise hungry monster kicks in later in evening.
Sounds like a few of us are feeling a bit jaded today so hurrah to us for not caving in! :victory:
Happy hols Scooby@Scubachick!
Beany@nursebean like Cobham,i am a refugee from yesterday..decided to swap to today.
Well done you on tackling @4:3!
Ive got a nice cottage pie and veg for later
Well done everyone, the weekend starts here!( well not quite, but tomorrow you can feast!)
Just about to have some green tea with rosewater (I dislike most green teas but this is a surprisingly good combination that I saw recommended by Clothilde of Chocolate & Zucchini).

Peaceful sort of fasting day as far as appetite goes but I'm having stray fretting thoughts about how much rehab I might need if I have some surgery on my shoulders and knees. I think the degree of my likely dependency for a while has only just hit me.
Do you have some/plenty support around you@SSure ?
Call in all favours and take up every offer of help if surgery means long term improvements in your quality of life x many of us find it difficult to receive help..we are often more comfortable being givers than takers..but look after numbero one! X youre worth it X
Oh dear, I have just had dinner of salmon and I'm not feeling the best. Perhaps it was a bit past it.... :silly:  :shutmouth:
Ohhh no scooby! Hope youre ok
Wluld some Alka Seltzer help,if you have any? X
Oh scooby dooby are you ok?

Green tea and rosewater @SSure? What on earth does that taste like? I drink green tea but some of them are better than others. I like Twinings best I think. But rosewater and green tea? I can't even begin to imagine!

Oh wow! I've just sold another Mary Poppins! She's proving to be a VERY popular item
