Hi Everyone! I'm fasting today.... It's a Friday, I know, so maybe there won't be anyone else fasting today.
I'm going to really try and stick to my challenge set in the weekly challenge - that of not over eating at dinner time.
Its getting close to dinner and work is really stressful today - hopefully I won't sink into a well of self pity and lose my resolve.

Thank you @MerryMelb for cheering me on! So far Ive come home and eaten celery sticks and a couple of almonds- so far so good :) Esp. given the major headache I had coming home!

I haven't managed a fast day since Monday -- I've been ravenous. So I'm trying to eat very healthy food when I'm hungry and keep the calories as low as possible. I'm making a roasted cauliflower and garlic soup for lunch - sauteed onions, carrots and celery in a very small amount of sunflower seed oil until they were golden, and I roasted a chopped head of cauliflower and several garlic cloves until golden with some more sunflower seed oil, salt, pepper and thyme. I just added that to the pot with the onions and covered it all with broth. I'll let that simmer for a half hour or so, and then puree into a veloute - or possibly leave it a little chunky. We'll see how I feel about it. I may add a dallop of sour cream or creme fraiche when I serve it. I'll add some very lean protein, probably turkey in a low carb wrap, or possibly wrapped in lettuce leaves, with a bit of mustard.
