Not my usual fasting day but I wanted to sneak one in before the weekend with a visit to Salamanca Market and a winery for Sunday lunch!
A lovely veggie Thai red curry awaits me later.
Good luck all!
Hi @debs, hope your day is going well, I'm joining you now for a well needed fast before the weekend. I put yesterdays fast back to today, I keep doing that, I don't know why. I'm sure they'll be a few more friday fasters along soon. Good luck and wishing everyone an easy day. :clover: :clover: :clover:
I'm in too. Have a great pre weekend, Friday fast everyone.
Morning Friday fasters x hope it's a good one x
One of my usual 4:3 - should be straightforward.

Good Luck, Fellow Friday Fasters. :clover:
My fast ended at about 4pm again. Been feeling down in the dumps today and just caved. I'm going to really try to do monday and thursday next week, must remember the back to basic thingy. My sister and nephew arrive next thursday evening for a week and I don't know if I'll be fasting while they are here so really need a couple of good fast before they get here. Hope you other fasters had a better day than me
I'm in for my third fast of the week. My first two fasts went well but on my feast days I have had social events that took my usual carb intake up somewhat, so I am hoping to at least maintain my weight from last Saturday which is my weigh-in day.
@justdee don't beat yourself up. Just draw a line and start over. Is it possible to do 16:8 during the time your visitors are there? If you can swing it it might give you a greater sense of control and stop weight gain. Think about it.

Have a great weekend everyone!
Thanks @swan51 16:8 didn't even cross my mind, I think I will do that as it's worked for me in the past, in fact I think I'll try it tomorrow too try to undo some of the damage from today :like: .
The barometric fluctuations and public transport cancellations have had me teetering on a migraine for most of the day. So, I'm pleased that it's nearly ended with nothing untoward to disrupt the fast tho' not much else has gone right.

Looking forward to tomorrow.
Reporting late at the end of my successful fasting day, in spite of a very emotional and exhausting roller coaster. My husband has been in hospital all week, cardiac investigations, wired up to monitors and on Monday he is to have a triple coronary bypass operation. We have been lucky in the chain of events that he has escaped a very serious heart attack. ( we shall never know, but having done 5:2 for nearly 2 years might have contributed to the "luck". All his blood analyses and pressure tests were good, and of course loss of weight).
I hope everyone had a good day. I continued in spite of everything because I needed something to be in my control as well as knowing I would feel somewhat better tomorrow!

@Katharina - well, that reads like the definition of poise under stress. Best wishes for Monday and your husband's successful triple coronary bypass operation plus subsequent rapid recovery.
