It's one of my regular 4:3 days.

I've got plenty of cherry tomatoes and yoghurt so it should be an easy day.

Good Luck to Friday Fasters. :clover:
Fasting today too. Have a good outcome, everyone. :clover:
I'm in today.

Enjoy the fast everyone x
Cherry tomatoes and yoghurt @SSure? Not together surely

Good luck you Friday Fasters. I'm with you until lunch time and then I'm just 16:8ing. I'm looking forward to creating the perfect poached eggs!! Watch this space

Anyway, hope the fast is fabulous!

Bean
Here I am, a glass of water and two decaff coffees in. I started at7pm last night so well on the way to my 24 hour fast. There's tuna with lettuce, tomato, radish and celery, then natural greek yogurt for dinner tonight.
Keep going everyone, we can do it, yes we can :0)

No :) Cherry tomatoes if I need something a little sweet and something to chew (or I'm stuck on the Tube/train and I want something). The 0% Total Greek Yoghurt is separate - tho', there's something quite refreshing about yoghurt, mint/flat leaf parsley/coriander and tomato.
I've got Decaff coffee too. Just what IS the benefit of Decaff? Is it supposed to contain your penchant for sweet things? I think I heard that somewhere. Anyway, hope you have a good fast. There's not many of you is there

Bean

Oh @SSure are you sure?!! Talking of 0% Total Greek Yoghurt, I must say I prefer the flavour of the full fat version...but can I find it anywhere? Can I heck! Most frustratious!
The full fat Total Greek Yoghurt is glorious and I eat that on non-fast days but on fast days I stick to the 0%. I'm fortunate in that my local supermarkets stock the 0%, 2% and full fat versions - but this is relatively recent and I can only hope that the sales sustain this range.
I'm in today! I have just returned from a week in Germany where I was looking after my two granddaughters. Lots of cake and rubbish eating mean that I have come back with a gain of nearly three pounds, so I am fasting today to get rid of that a.s.a.p. and return to my target weight.

Onwards and downwards, fellow fasters!
Do well fabfriday folk!
@nursebean think the point of decaff is its sposed to be better for you as the caffeine has been removed..however i read that the process to remove it isnt very healthy either :curse:
The total greek yog is lovely..i dont like yog but love the Total 0 or 2 %... Lovely with a swirl of honey or lemon curd in it..or berries of course.
I havent spotted the full fat one yet either, bean :dazed:
Stowie @stowgateresident hope you had fun with the grandies xx you will soon drop the avoirdupois! X
Fasting today too!
I can't find ANY full fat yogurt here. I have always wanted to taste it. Today I think I will pick up a little yogurt as this forum has made me want to chow down on some during today's meal. Have a great fasting day, ya'll!
Joining you today but did have a hot chocolate at 4-00am after being woken by my OH who was trying to look up the Scottish voting results on his kindle so I suggested he put the TV on! We both had hot chocolate & after awhile I went back to sleep. So far water & coffee until supper of a Fuller Longer Chicken Casserole.
I hope you have all had a good fasting day.
Two hours to go. Always a dangerous tummy rumbling time. Keep drinking carbonated mineral water and keep on going ⏰
21:30 and I've had my beef stock with carrots and approx 15g of the broccoli bread that I made the other day.

I've finished most of the weekend's baking for the neighbours, family, and sports chums: biscotti with cherries, cranberries, macadamia nuts and pistachio (100+ slices); coconut cakes (48); marmalade slices (36); jam crumble bars (24); Mary Anne Boerman's Keep Cake (2x large, 2x small); fridge cake with whatever odds and ends of biscuits and fruit were left over from the other recipes; and I'm maturing the fruit and nuts overnight to bake 3x large Konditor & Cook's Figgy Fruit Loaf tomorrow.

As always, the humidity in the house is now horribly uncomfortable despite all of the open doors and windows. One of these days, someone will design an affordable, powerful, non-deafening, kitchen extractor fan...

Good Luck to those who might be finding the last few hours a tad tricky or who have many more hours to go. :clover:
I should be in bed it is 3am! Read through todays thread and saw the yoghurt conversation and wondered if we have yoghurt making recipe on the forum, full fat of course. Following a conversation with my local Turkish grocer about a year ago I must make time to make. Ok, time for bed as I think I have tested my sleep deprivation to the full :sleepy: :sleepy: :sleepy: :sleepy:
