:victory: :clover: :like: :bunny: :bunny: Hello to all the Thursday fasters. This is my second fast of the week and the last fast of my Lenten Losings Challenge. I would love to drop 300g today to give me a total loss of -4.5 kgs in the six weeks of the challenge. Really pleased with the result.
What are your strategies not to over indulge (too much) over the long weekend when there are so many sweet treats around? I have been given three chocolate bunnies at my desk this morning and there are hot cross buns in the kitchen! I am planning to do lots of extra walking this weekend as the weather forecast is good for the Easter weekend and not to worry too much about a few indulgences - after all, I can fast again on Monday!

Happy Thursday fasting everyone. :bunny: :bunny: :bunny:

Pssst! OK, first off, don't tell the kids.

Arrange the choc bunnies in a battle line opposite a trio of equally threatening Peeps in the microwave with their toothpick swords at the ready! Last one to be knocked over or form a puddle wins. Peeps are quite scary in this contest. (A rotating microwave works best.)

What on earth are Peeps?
Hi, I'm in for my first full one for a while, have only managed a few half-days since a three week holiday in Jan/Feb. Sticking to coffee and water for the day, with plenty of veg tonight. Good luck to all.

I've never heard of Peeps either, by the way.
Sorry about that. I wrongly assumed they were universal.

A marshmallow, commonly yellow in color, about 5 cm long.

Peeps are shaped marshmallows, covered in sugar. The original shape is a baby chick (hence, Peeps, after the noise chicks make), but they come in all shapes now (bunnies, snowmen, pumpkins, etc.). In the US, they are an iconic Easter candy, second only to chocolate bunnies. Too sweet to my tastes.

When microwaved, marshmallows expand to impressive sizes--your Peep is transformed (briefly, before melting) into a chicken. ;)
Peeps are DISGUSTING! They aren't even food in my book! Be glad, those of you who've never seen one of the icky things...

I'm in today, having my tea now, going to do "the usual" the rest of the day. Good fasting to all!

I'm writing up a missive on the perils of grazing, if anyone wants to chime in...
WOW! I can't believe everyone has not heard of Peeps!! They must be a U.S. gluttonous thing! People definitely either love them or hate them. I myself am in the former camp! They are very dangerous though. I will eat a whole box in one sitting!
Happy Easter!
