I WAS supposed to be fasting today, but we're having a "pink day" here in the office for breast cancer and one of the sales chaps' wife made the most amazing cake!
It would have been rude not to!!!

Sometimes I plan a fast and then on the day know I'll find it tough and resent it ALL day. When that happens I just postpone it to the next day. I've never given up on a fast or not managed 2 per week so far!

So far had 2 cups of proper tea and 4 cups of herbal tea. At least I'm well hydrated!

But I don't eat anything at all on fast days, liquids only, so I allow myself a bit of milk in my tea. It's the first thing I look forward to when I wake up!
Kawberlin wrote: I did when I used to eat a meal in the evening. But now, on a fast day, I have 35cal of milk in tea, then about 20cal for an Oxo cube in hot water in the evening. And what, a few cals here and there in herbal tea.
That's it, no more food. I just find it easier doing a liquid fast!
Kawberlin wrote: I find it easier not having to think about food, or making a low cal dinner. I also find that although I get hungry mid-afternoon on a fast day, I'm not at all hungry in the evening. So why bother!
Lol, probably less 'hardcore' and more 'lazy'
