Hello
I WAS supposed to be fasting today, but we're having a "pink day" here in the office for breast cancer and one of the sales chaps' wife made the most amazing cake!
It would have been rude not to!!!

Kawberlin wrote: Pip - absolutely! I do Wednesdays and then either Fri, Sat or Sun depending on weekend plans and also depending on how I feel! Wednesdays are always fine - that's the beginning of my working week so in my head I'm just ready to get going.

Sometimes I plan a fast and then on the day know I'll find it tough and resent it ALL day. When that happens I just postpone it to the next day. I've never given up on a fast or not managed 2 per week so far!

You sound like me. Resentful yet hardcore

How's your fast going so far? I'm onto my second can of diet pepsi
Hehe, yep, resentful yet hardcore. Tough little Northern girl, that's me :)
So far had 2 cups of proper tea and 4 cups of herbal tea. At least I'm well hydrated!

Lulabella - YUM! And also: how could you post that pic on the fasting thread! Hope you enjoyed it :-P
LOL!! sorry about that!
but i am now back on the herbal teas to try and behave till dinner tonight!!

With you on the resentful but determined - sometimes it's just hard work and with winter drawing near, i think that this could happen more and more, this will be my 1st winter of fasting - eeekk!!!

But i am sure that if i stick with this WOE i will see that illusive 7lbs disappear once and for all :victory:

No milk I'm assuming?
Hi all, I'm in today for my normal friday fast. Have a great fast everyone. :)
Dee
err, splash of skimmed

But I don't eat anything at all on fast days, liquids only, so I allow myself a bit of milk in my tea. It's the first thing I look forward to when I wake up!

Did you count it in your cals? I was surprised just how much cals skimmed milk has when I started this WOE. So now I don't drink tea on fast days.
I did when I used to eat a meal in the evening. But now, on a fast day, I have 35cal of milk in tea, then about 20cal for an Oxo cube in hot water in the evening. And what, a few cals here and there in herbal tea.

That's it, no more food. I just find it easier doing a liquid fast!

Wow, why don't you eat on a fast day? You are indeed, hardcore.

I save all my cals for supper :)
I find it easier not having to think about food, or making a low cal dinner. I also find that although I get hungry mid-afternoon on a fast day, I'm not at all hungry in the evening. So why bother!

Lol, probably less 'hardcore' and more 'lazy' :-)

Wow. I wish I was you.

For me, at around 6pm I am ravenous to the point of turning into a bitch lol.
