In today for my third fast of the week, and beginning to think that everyone else has more sense. Still, it's a bit spooky. Is anyone else at home ? I know it's going to be a tough one because I've already eaten half of my calories: three pikelets (skinny crumpets, 50 cals each) with a scraping of peanut butter, total 250. Wouldn't normally touch peanut butter (except in a satay sauce), but am experiencing weird cravings and perpetual hunger since beginning a course of flucloxacillin a week ago (trod on a sea urchin on holiday and it is having the last word). Will have another meal at 3pm, a few noodles and a heap of stir fry veg. Possibly also a drink of miso: I bought some the other day after seeing how many people on here have it on fast days, but haven't yet opened the jar.... That's all, except to wish any other crypt-kickers out there a successful day.
I'm in yaaawwwn I've woken up really tired this morning so I hope its not going to make fasting harder ...

Going to try and hold out till my protein bar lunch at around 1.30pm .. and then Thai Innocent Veg Pot for dinner ...with just enough cals for a couple of bouillons if I need them.
Not expecting much in the way of Halloween activity here ..I'm probably the only person in the road who isn't of pension age other than my husband
Good luck with the miso @wasafan, not my fave, but marigold bouillon or oxo cubes hi the spot for me. Ouch for the naughty little urchin. Take it easy everyone, it's fridayyyyyyyy.
Only three of us fasting today .. guess everyone else must be out on their broomsticks !
I might have to give in to a mug of Marigold in a minute as my tummy rumbling is distracting me from my spreadsheet
I do hope I will rumble less as time goes on ...
Yes where is everyone.......just having an oxo before shooting out to visit my great nephew and niece in law. :pumpkin: :pumpkin: :pumpkin:
All sorts of WiFi problems at present so belated check-in for my 3rd of my 4:3 this week. :)

Warm sort of afternoon so looking forward to our Thai-style broth this evening. Paddling this weekend so lots of preparation tonight. Carmen is the live opera broadcast from the New York Met tomorrow so I'm looking forward to that.

:clover: to my fellow Friday fasters :)
