Could I be the only one today ?

Hello everyone and good morning/day/evening !
After an awful night of sleep (fell asleep way too early, woke up at midnight and couldn't get back to sleep before 4:00AM) I am in for a much needed repair today. Will probably make a soup tonight just have no idea which one. I was wondering if I could make one with endives (chicory) ...

Good luck ! :clover:
Hi @manderley

As always I am fasting until 2 or 3 pm.

Hope you feel better soon, I can't cope with those messed up nights
Is it crazy to fast when you have to cook some yummy treats ? I am about to prepare and bake a brioche for this weekend and, later, just before going to bed, I will begin the pulled pork slow cooking for it to be ready for tomorrow's lunch. Yes there must be something wrong with me

For now I only had a huge coffee and will have a strong tea in a minute. I finally chose the right soup for tonight, a spinach courgettes peas soup. It is a spinach week
I am also fasting today. My weight after my pre fasting-period is still high, high. In my tracker higher than it has been ever. 56.1 kg. My BMI is still just under 23. But this window fasting is going well with me. I feel good doing it and I have already lost about 2 kg of my excess weight. About 4 more kilos to go before I reach my maintain wiggle room. I have 20 more days to go of my Advent fast. I know the weight loss will slow down soon, as I get nearer to my goal. But then there will be Christmas,,,, pudding and cake and... So not concerned too much about my actual weight. I will have an other fasting period after Christmas. That will be 40 days and it is called Lent.
It is 13:30 here in SW Finland, and we're experiencing a storm. Due for a walk soon, but if it is raining as well as blowing, might give it a skip.
My snack time is at 15:00, and never eat anything before then. Wish it was 15:00 already. Oh, well. This window fasting feels like real fasting to me, Maybe a bit easier, though.
Let's all hang in there till we can eat again. Good luck! :clover:
The soup is ready and it's the most gorgeous yummy deep green ever  I added a spoon of crème fraîche and 50 g of mature cheddar, which, with 1.5l soup is not that much and I already have a mug of it. Let me tell you, I should have thought about mixing courgettes, peas and spinach before !!! May add some chorizo on top later or maybe will have a small spoon of home made peanut butter as a treat
I won't eat tonight. My stomach is full of knots. That's crazy how a celebrity's passing can do that sometimes. I am not usually that shook up but this one is kind of special. A bit of innocence that goes away.

Anyway, no worries, the soup freezes well so it will be for next week.
