Owady wrote: I'm fasting today as well. Just got back from France where I ate too much baguette, too many large cakes, drank too much hot chocolate (old fashioned style, double creamy oh dear .....). This is my fourth week on the diet and I am newly registered on the forum. As one of the "blue rinse set", I'm keeping up the side of the oldies!!!! I manage to not eat anything until about 2 or 3 pm, then soup and a light supper with my husband. Works for me Keep strong everyone!
hi there Owady and welcome to the board!!
being french born myself i know full well its sooooo hard to resist any food over there!!!!
good luck on your fasting, it does get easier!!
Thank goodness for this forum though, I always pop on some time in the afternoon when fasting, it helps just to know that I'm not the only one doing it I think!
I'm seriously considering making this one a half-fast though. Hubby and I have the house to ourselves this evening as our son is off to a sleepover.... the temptation of a movie and snacks might be too great....
I am also discovering that how to deal with hunger, seeing it as a way to renew instead of being uncomfortable.

Just waltzed straight past them all!
