 Yes count me in but it will be a sort of semi fast where I go all day and evening meal eating and drinking whatever I want to knowing it will be under my TDEE (Hope so )

Its rather cold and windy outside and as the OH has taken the car so I will wrap a few pressies and do a few cards well that should keep me occupied for a few hours :clover: Sue :clover:
Joining you fasting today to try & add some weight loss to the Christmas Challenge. My Oh will be 16:8ing because he has an office Christmas lunch at a very prestigious local hotel with superb food. I'm not really jealous
I'm fasting today as well. Just got back from France where I ate too much baguette, too many large cakes, drank too much hot chocolate (old fashioned style, double creamy oh dear .....). This is my fourth week on the diet and I am newly registered on the forum. As one of the "blue rinse set", I'm keeping up the side of the oldies!!!! I manage to not eat anything until about 2 or 3 pm, then soup and a light supper with my husband. Works for me :-) Keep strong everyone!
Hello everybody..I am on my third week and my third fast this week. I found that yesterday I managed to resist eating a whole packet of mince pies (just having one) and have not been tempted by the chocolate advent calendar treats in the kitchen either which is amazingly rare! My scales showed a gain yesterday so I am hoping that this will have rectified itself by tomorrow (I did cheat and get weighed two days early so it serves me right). Good luck to all, only 12 hours till bed time. :)

:-) :clover: :like:
I'm in today! Second fast for this week - fasted v successfully on Tuesday. Why is it that the second one always feels so hard though? I'm definitely struggling a bit more today.

Thank goodness for this forum though, I always pop on some time in the afternoon when fasting, it helps just to know that I'm not the only one doing it I think!

I'm seriously considering making this one a half-fast though. Hubby and I have the house to ourselves this evening as our son is off to a sleepover.... the temptation of a movie and snacks might be too great....
Sometimes you just have to go for it Prairiechicken, an empty house is a rarity. Maybe you could save your 500 calories just for movie snacks? I am quite satisfied after my prawn and egg salad this evening, I am focusing on stepping on the scales tomorrow.

I am also discovering that how to deal with hunger, seeing it as a way to renew instead of being uncomfortable.
4 hours to bed time!
