Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.

Hi all, half way through the day already! I'm struggling after waking up hungry which is really rare for me. This might be due to the track session I did last night.
Still, I'm looking forward to a milky tea, some yoga and vegetable/potato bake later.

As it is weight day tomorrow I think I will make it through. Good luck everyone. xx
Rather late in posting today but my OH & I are also fasting today. Only coffee, water & a Bovril until supper of an M & S Fuller Longer meal. This is my third fast this week in an attempt to cajole my body into cooperating in starting to properly lose weight again! We weigh on Saturday mornings & I am impatient to find out that I haven't stayed the same weight again :clover:
I hope you all have a good day. I am hoping to watch the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics
I've been in all day today, it's not been a good day :frown:

I'm cold and starving, work has been tough, I've had a headache all day and found it hard to concentrate. So I've got a huge dish of vegetables roasting in the oven, I'm having a plain 2 egg omelette, and enough calories left for a piece of toast this evening. Hurrah!
I'm here today. Been hungry all day but stuck with it. Roll on dinner time :)

I'm in!, I switched my Thursday fast for today :)
I'm hungry! Really really want to make it till I go home and have dinner; but that is 6 hours away.... :frown:

I do have an emergency stash of string cheese here at work: 80 cals and a protein boost...

Hang in there everyone!
I gave in today :( was feeling rather miserable after a long, active day (in fact week!). But I've still done 2 days this week, Monday and Wednesday, so suppose I can't be fed up with myself really :) x
I'm fasting today, normally a Thurs but had family over for tea yesterday so planned today instead, which is a shopping day with my mum who has dementia so I normally don't manage to get lunch anyway, but have a bigger breakfast & a big tea. Missed not being able to eat all I wanted at tea time, but I'll be going to bed soon & tomorrow is a normal day - yey! Funny how I've got into a routine of Tues & Thurs but move a fast day & it seems harder.
I survived today with a modified fast (about 700 calories.) I've decided though that fasting 2 days in a row is really not for me. I really didn't feel great as a result. I just have to do my best to get my regular 2 days in normally!
I blew my usual thurs fast at 7 pm so ive done it friday instead
Now safely in bed with 500 cals in my tum x

That was hard.

cake for breakfast right after a fast day. Perhaps not the smartest move, but it was darned good!
I would've done the same thing MaryAnn! I think it was impressive for you to avoid your own birthday cake!
