Well, here I am again to start off the day. I find Friday fasts the hardest on my MWF (Its hard to resist the urge for post work wine and nibbles) but I will stand strong today! It helps that the scale is looking good this am (even after eating a bigger dinner than planned yesterday!) So feel motivated! Good luck all
Hi Nicole - with you too - good luck. Not a fan of Friday fasts but this week have been all over the place. I'm also in NZ and its "lunchtime" now and really want to break the work day with food. I might go should myself a long macchiato at Mojo so I feel like I am having some kind of treat. kia kaha.
Hi Roglow.

Yes, I often go out for an Americano at lunchtime at whichever café has the best (trashy) magazines as my fast day treat!
I'm in today

Hoping to eat nothing but my std cottage cheese or an egg or both, before dinner

For dinner, planning a quick beef stir fry with chinese cabbage and carrots for bulk.

Realised ive been cooking too much food on a fast night so im going to buy less meat for it. if its not in the frypan you cant eat more! The other day i had so much food you wouldnt know it was fast day. So we all must have went over our 500 / 600 calories. doh
I'm in today, too, for my third fast. I feel like I'm on a roll this week. Non-fast days have been going well, my weight is dropping (finally). I hope I haven't jinxed myself!

Good luck, Friday fasters!
I have made the executive decision NOT to fast today. I just feel I need a break from it til next Mon. I have been eating sensibly all week and not feeling too hungry and my weight has stayed the same all week instead of bouncing back up as soon as I stop fasting. So I'm just giving myself a break from feeling dreadful (hate that sore tummy/shattered/gnawing feeling) and hopefully will pick back up with more enthusiasm next Mon  Good luck today, everyone! :clover:
Hi, I'm doing a semi-fast, as going out tonight, but won't be having anything until the evening. Well done all of you doing three days, I'm not sure if I could do that. Hope you the day off helps @greenmonster.
Good luck to all :clover:
It's Friday so I'm fasting as part of my usual 4:3. This is my 4th Winter as a faster and I'm vaguely wondering how many fasts I've done in that time or overall.

And how many soups, broths, vegetables stews and casseroles I've eaten. :)
I'm in hoping for another pound off this week, gathering momentum to hit my Xmas goal.
Just made Moogies chickpea chocolate cake. Was a very wet battery mix, as didn't have enough cocoa. Fingers crossed, if not the birds will be well fed.
This is my first week of fasting and it's gone really well. I thought the third day would be difficult, but I haven't been hungry at all. It's evening now and I feel a little cold, but that might be because we had our first snow storm for the winter. I've lost weight too and gained very little on the days I've eaten so I'm sure I will continue with this since it seems to be working well for me.

Congratulations on a successful first week :)

I'm glad today is nudging towards its conclusion as it's been a difficult day in many ways - within bounds food wise but difficult.

I'm looking forward to the weekend.
Yes I had a good fast day but had no time to post in the morning! It went well, there's nothing quite like being busy and actively enjoying lemon tea, bouillon, fizzy water, and then grilled salmon with pesto and a pile of green beans In the early evening.
