I missed the Thursday fast. We had another working bee at our place and I used it as an excuse to eat. I had to make lunch for everyone. Actually, thinking about it now, I could have fasted, eaten soup for lunch and then gone easy at dinner - as I wasn't actually hungry. If we have another working bee next Thursday, I'll do that. However. today's the day. I have put on 5 kg this winter, which is disappointing and I don't feel very confident of losing it. Still I have to keep going. It's some kind of fishy soup for dinner and nothing I hope, until then. I was feeling very bloated and fat over the last few days so I'm really ready for that empty feeling today. Who else is in?
Go forth and fast Sallyo! ( well you' ll be done by now with a firmly ClosedKitchen)
5kgs..meh! You will lose that again as you get back into spring and summertime x
Just keep going like you said :like:
Once more unto the fast dear friends ... Hallo @Sallyo *waves* , I'm on Day 7 of Fast-5 so join you fasting until 3pm.
I admit to falling by the wayside yesterday as I hadn't eaten properly in my window the day before and ended up extremely cold and tired, felt like my body would shut down. We walked into town and ate protein breakfasts and felt crazy full for hours but warmer and saner :0). Better today.
Work continues on the boiler replacement front, one bedroom radiator is not coming warm, a mystery but could be air in the system so hoping he can sort it.
Still no word from the garage on our dead car :0@, feeling scared to ring them /0\.
What a week and three quarters it's been, hoping for a calmer, less expensive future!
I'm in for the day at least, fasting until tonight then eating normally this evening as doing a half marathon on Sunday, so something of an extended 16:8. Haven't felt the need to eat so far, it's so much easier when you're in the right frame of mind.

Good luck to all today :clover:
Thanks @Azureblue and @CandiceMarie What a time you're having Azure! I'm not sure what Fast5 is. Is it a 5 hour eating window? Do you do it every day? Yes, my day is done, the kitchen closed. Went all right. Big day tomorrow starting with a slap up breakfast. Hello @Egduf. Go well.
Fast-5 is fasting 19 hours and eating within a 5 hour window, I'm doing well having the window from 3-8pm every day. Sounds onerous but is generally ok as I've always had a tendency for the munchies by 4pm anyway, so if I have an omelette at 3pm I can easily last to dinner at 6pm and eat what I fancy in real food.
I'm hoping it will shrink the tyre encircling my midriff in a insulin-resistant way :0.
@sallyo thanks for asking about Fast 5 coz I meant to ask..
@azureblue i didnt realise it was same as19:5... My DD has done 19:5 or 20:4 for many months and loves it..
I cdnt do it day in day out but kudos to you hardy souls who can :like: xx
Struggling today, but reading all your messages is giving me hope... Been doing 4:3 for a few weeks now. Fridays are the toughest, but I'm trying not to be too hard on myself.
Hoping that posting here will help me stay on track for the last few hours! :starving:
