Hello. I am fasting today, for a change. Not Thursday but Friday. Unfortunately I woke up in the early morning and ended up having a malted hot milk before going back to bed, which not really a good start to the day. However, I will pick up the pieces and not eat any thing else for quite a while. If I get really hungry in the afternoon I will have some tuna and salad and then more fish and salad for dinner tonight. I will be a late one as I have a 5.30pm phone meeting. It's meant to be a 'quick one' but these meetings always end up dragging on and on. Hope to meet some more Friday fasters here as the day progresses.
I'm here too@Sallyo and glad you adjusted your day to suit. I expect your night time drink won't have made such a difference. I really need to keep my weight in check with the fast days. I find being off school makes for more indulgence. No excuses today, it will be busy indoors because a day and night of heavy rain is forecast. If I am focused I will take the puppy out for a walk right now....6.15 a.m. here!
Good fasting "Friday-ers"
I'm here as well - another weekend with friends - driving up this afternoon .... Not sure how this will work. Last Friday I held out really well despite everybody munching away in the car and my host preparing a love dinner for herself :grin:
I think today is going to be more difficult... especially once I get there ... We'll see - if it's not to be then it's just not to be...
Hope you'll have a good day @Sallyo and @Katharina - hope the rain stayed off for your walk with the puppy. It's sunny up here at the moment, but bloody chilly for July - fed up with this 'summer'...
Came home with some Tasmanian scallops. Off to check out how many calories they have.
I may join you today for a proper fast, been busy, out enjoying myself. Too much wine, few too many carbs, but back to routine now, (well school holiday routine) need to set myself a goal for this 6 weeks.
Am fasting today too..... my 3rd for the week, however been eating way too chocolate this week feel so bad but its TTOM and am forgiving myself this weeks indulgence. So LOF for me today to do some damage control. Am home alone for a while so no need to cook which will make it a lot easier also..... Have a happy fasting day everyone :like:
200gm scallops, 190 calories, but then I add the milk, the salad dressing, the digestive biscuits. Oh and I forgot to add the tuna at lunch time. I have had over 500 calories today. I will have a black tea and leave it at that. Back to My Fitness Pal with me. I will have to do this every fast from today.
