Well, here I am again! Still in pursuit of a slight reduction below my target weight, prior to my holiday in less than two weeks time! So today nothing to eat until this evening when I will enjoy a home-made pork casserole, served with mashed potato for my husband and son, and lots of vegetables for me.

I will check in later to see if anyone else is joining me today!
Woo hooo!! Someone posted ahead of me today!

An idea I've had about the reduced participation here lately... Had already dropped off, but with the updated site, I had some trouble getting back on, and for those who are not techie, it can be frustrating trying to do that with something that had been working well. I know that when I was having issues getting on, I was rather upset at the thought I wouldn't be able to come here anymore. So, with Moogie's news, I'm pretty discouraged. Not sure what to do, but am glad some members are coming forward to try and keep it going, in one form or another. If it does continue, I will participate.

And yes, I'm in today. My last light day (Thursday) I posted that I was going to change it up a bit, since I'd been having trouble sticking with it through those dangerous late night hours. (And since I cannot "go to bed early"--I have Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome and for me, midnight is "early")

So, here's what I did...and it helped (I did not "snack" later in the evening)
Had my broth earlier (2:45 rather than 4pm), when I hit that first strong hunger wave
Had a hardboiled egg at 4pm
Usual dinner about 8pm (with broccoli)
"Dessert" at 11pm (Siggi's yogurt, blackberries, melted chocolate)

A tip: I find that melting the dark chocolate makes it more flavorful, and a little goes a long way! Dribbling it over yogurt (and/or fruit) also increases the time it takes to eat it, and increases satisfaction/satiety.
