One kilogram was added over the weekend so time for another Monday fast. Dinner is the same as last Monday, beef chow mein with less mince and more cabbage/carrots. It's grey and overcast here today so that will be a nice comforting meal come 6pm. Anyone joining me?
Yea, I'm here, as usual. My weekends and Mondays have become weird recently. :confused: i used to put on weight at week ends when I have wine and dessert with my evening meal. Last night I had a very large piece of apple pie with cream on top!!!
But I lost weight on a Saturday and did not gain any more by this morning. 56.6 kg.
I tend to eat very little on Mondays, and before I always lost on a Monday. But last Monday my weight stayed the same :confused:
I've tested my scales, they are accurate.
So the answer, I know, is to plod on, what ever the scales say!!! The weight IS dropping, all be it slowly. :smile:
A fast day for me too, started at 7.30pm last night and hoping to get 23 hours done before eating salmon salad tonight. I've drunk a lemon tea and 2 coffees so far.

Hi all. I'm in today. I've been swimming and walking this morning and now doing a bit of gardening, although the clouds are gathering ominously at the moment.
Something veggie for this evening's meal.
On my last fast day I managed well all day on water and the occasional tea then ate in the evening. However the floodgates opened then and I didn't stop nibbling...it turned into an 800 day rather than 500. Trying to be more disciplined this evening! I keep repeating my friend's favourite mantra that this is a marathon not a sprint.

after a nice weekend with eating and drinking (within bounds), BruceE and I are ready for a fast day today.

Espresso and tea in the morning, followed by beef veggie chili tonight. :-)
I'm in for my usual Monday fast; just after noon here, so have had black coffee and am having my green tea now. "The usual" the rest of the day: Broth, snack, dinner...
