Fasting today Monday 14th March
14 Mar 2016, 09:11
Hi all you Monday fasters - I know you are out there somewhere.....

Fasting today as usual for my Monday/Thursday fast. Nothing but tea and a few grapes before a tasty dinner of zucchini pasta with an avocado and basil cream, snow peas, shallots, tomatoes and some cashew nut cheese. Not sure about the calorie count but I feel it is around 500 even with the avo and the nuts. Weigh in tomorrow morning and the weekend was a little heavy on the entertaining and wine so not expecting great things there but back on the wagon today.
Happy fasting everyone. I am a bit loath to keep starting these threads so it would be nice for someone else to jump in!
Hello! I'm in today too for a 500 cal day. Last week I had a bit of a rethink and a look at my goals, as my tend wight hasn't really gone down much at all since Christmas  I'm lucky in that I haven't got much to lose, but I have a big holday to Cuba at the end of June, so I want to be looking my best for that! So I'm going to try a few weeks of doing 6:1 and 16:8, so a 500 cal fast on Mondays (with an 8 hour eating window), then 16:8 for the rest of the weekdays and weekends off (yay). I genuinely have no idea whether this will make my weight go up, down or neither - I'm just doing it to keep myself interested and motivated. Let's see what happens...

:clover: :clover: to all the Monday fasters out there!
Hello fellow fasters!
Fasting today, my 5th fast since having my baby boy 6 weeks ago. Really enjoying the cleansing feel of the fasts more than anything but my step daughter is getting married in Greece in September so would like to lose my 10kg of baby weight before I brave a bikini! Really successful losing weight and gaining fitness last time in 2013/14, then maintaining until I had a pregnancy involving lots of bedrest so will just do the same - bog standard 5:2, very little counting but lots of sensible stuff like exercise, veg and salad. I will fast all day with tea, coffee or Bovril if I feel like it, drink lots of water and then have a roasted chicken leg with salad for tea - job done!
Good luck to everyone else :clover:
Finishing a 24 hour fast today- started after lunch yesterday. Going to try exercising before breaking my fast. Interested to see how that goes. Hope it goes well for everyone!
This is my FIRST FAST ever! I'm glad for the distraction as it's close to 5pm here and I have not eaten since early morning small breakfast. Starting to feel a bit woozy! I know the first few fasts can be the hardest (or so I've read). I'm determined to stick with it though!

I'm in Philadelphia, btw.... I know most people on this forum are in the UK.
I'm in today, wasn't going to fast today, we had a big windstorm and my power was out for almost 24hrs, no hot food yesterday. My road was blocked off due to a downed power line, so couldn't even go out to eat. (And missed Walking Dead last night, oh no!)

But...woke up this morning not feeling hungry, and realized my body WANTS to fast on its normal day (Monday). So, it's afternoon here and am having my usual pot o' green tea. Maybe a little hungrier than usual, but not bad, and not undoable. And I'll get it over (rather than delaying till tomorrow) with. I don't like having only one normal day inbetween light days, so this works better for me.
