Another Monday, another fast. It's only 9:30am and I have been pre-occupied since waking up with thinking about food. I wish I had less potato wedges last night as it seems to make the fast day worse. Good luck fellow fasters. Wendy
Hi Wendy i will be joining you after ive had a nights sleep! By which time yr fast wll be coming to an end and yr body will be thanking you for it!
Ive eaten too much today and feel horrid,so quite looking forward to a rest and repair tomorrow xx
Hope you have a fab day :clover: xx
Hello @Wmr309 and @CandiceMarie. I'm in today. I had a week off last week as I went on a holiday to Freycinet Peninsular with some old friends and there was feasting. But no drinking which was a bit challenging! Today I have had black coffee and I am keeping busy. Plan a tomato, bean, egg salad for dinner. Cloudy day, bush fire smoke coming and going. It looks clear now but Tasmania is still burning. It is very distressing. Some of it is World Heritage, 1000 year old forests which have never seen fire. This is climate change. No one can deny it.
Good day everyone !
After several weeks without a fast, I am baaaaack (insert and evil grin here  )
My weight has stabilised to a healthy range so I can go back to my 2 fasts a week.
And I have some news but I keep hat for later.....
I have absolutely no idea what we'll eat tonight. I didn't even go to do the groceries this month yet !

Good luck ! :clover:
Just coming to the end of my fast day - the first one in a couple of weeks. Some salmon and veggies and some homegrown tomatoes for dinner. Now the kitchen is closed!

The fires are terrible @Sallyo - such a loss of old forest and all the wildlife. Sad for Tasmania and all of us.
I was here today too and I'm glad that the day is coming to an end. Nothing all day but two cups of tea, gallons of water and then a falafel salad with humus for dinner. Happy Monday fasting all you northern hemisphere peeps.
I am also fasting today. Just gone 1 pm here as I am truly in the North.
Sallyo, my heart goes out to you. I LOVE trees and old forests.... We have snow upon snow here...
I'm in today - mixed feelings about it, on the one hand I ate (and drank...) far too much at the weekend so it's actually a relief to have a light day. On the other hand, I just reported my final weight loss for the Valentine's challenge and I didn't make the target, so I'm sulking slightly about the whole 5:2 thing! But it'll pass, I just need to do two good fast days and eat fresh, nutritious food the rest of the time and I'll feel better about the whole thing soon enough.

:clover: :clover: everybody who getting on with their Monday fast.
I'm in today, I also ate more than normal yesterday, including a very rich dessert last night, so I am determined to make this a good one. It's nearly 3 here, so far have just had tea and coffee, am planning to make tomato soup for dinner with chickpea croutons but I need to be careful as the last time I ate loads of them as no one else wanted any...maybe the trick is not to cook too many in the first place...

Happy fasting everyone!

Heartbreaking  On a bad day I think climate change is the Earth trying to rid itself of a pernicious, invasive, parasitic organism - on a normal day I just follow the science.
I'm going to try for another fast today. My last two attempts have ended badly with me bingeing (there doesn't seem to be a right way to spell that word, maybe it's a sign :?: ). I've had some recent sadness and somehow feel like I owe it to myself to find comfort in glow-in-the-dark, overly processed, non-food, salty and/or sugary, slowly poisonous, chunks of chewable crap. Anyway, my goal is a 500 calorie fast day today. If that's not going to happen then I will make my fall back position a whole30 day (lots of delicious and comforting healthy fats, meat, and mountains of leafy greens), NOT a trip to 7/11.
I'm in today, it's a holiday here, Pres Day; normally, I don't like to fast on holidays, but gotta go work in Oly tomorrow and REALLY don't wanna do it then. One good thing, got to sleep through 5 hours of fasting--yeah! My friend who fasts is here right now--mousefx--and says Hi! Just had my coffee, we're going to run some errands--later!

@Sallyo, sorry to hear about the fires; we've got a lot of forest here too--in fact, the only temperate rain forest in the U.S., on the Olympic Peninsula--so we have issues with fire too.
