Well here we are at the start of another week and how many people are joining me for a good fast?

Last week I did three fasts and didn't like it at all :shock: so this week it will be Monday and Thursday for me! The other days I am cutting out snacks, so currently biscuits, cakes, crisps etc have no place in our home. At least, not until I am back to my target weight - six pounds to go so should be there easily before my 68th birthday in March.

I have no idea yet what we will have for dinner this evening but I do know that there will be no pudding!

Well it's a holiday in the US, celebrating the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. I'd say it's a good day to fast and spend a few minutes reflecting on what we can do to make the US and the world a better place, especially in terms of how we treat each other and how we treat people who are different from us.

I had an overloaded weekend in NYC with an old friend, and although we tried to be really, really well behaved, the scale was not pleased with me this morning, showing me up 2.9lbs >.< Of course my body fat was down a bit so I'm hoping that's mostly water weight. I don't usually eat out ever, and I ate out for every meal the last three days.

So a light day it is for me!
I'm here as usual. My gardening group had a 3 course post christmas lunch but after a week away last week I decided to pass.My Christmas 'damage' does not seem as bad this year as last but I need to get on to it. Sweet and sour chicken with slim rice tonight.
I'm in and getting to the end of my fast - Monday and Thursday for me too. I've had lots of herbal teas through the day and I'm on slim chicken tikka and roasted green veg for dinner. Luckily I've been too busy at work to notice being hungry but I've not managed to drag myself to the gym tonight :bugeyes:
I'm having a fast day as well - I actually don't mind them as much. Had a lot of coffee so far, and planning on an avocodo/tuna boat for dinner. Should be just around 500 calories and filling!
