Fasting today?

Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.

This is possibly my last fast of the year as the school holidays have started and I'm planning a visit to the beach with fish and chips for lunch this Thursday. And I love hot chips too much to say no to that! It looks like I won't be successful in this year's Christmas Challenge but the way I'm looking at it is that without the two fasts each week I would have gained some serious weight as there have been so many foodie events/catch ups these last few weeks. Two low calorie days each week have limited the damage somewhat. My clothes still feel the same, including the narrow waist dresses that I bought last season. :)

Chicken kebab(s) for dinner with a salad tonight. Anyone joining me fasting today?

You are doing well to fast this close to Christmas!

It sounds like you are okay enough with your current weight/size, especially if you can fit comfortably into those dresses (your tracker indicates you have a very slim waist for your height).. So enjoy those chips, enjoy the Christmas fare, and then see where things are at after that.

PS No more fasting for me this side of Christmas - too many social events and Christmas goodies around!
I am yet fasting today. This will also be my last Monday fast this year, because I only have 4 days of Advent fasting left. I have lost the 2 kg I set out to lose. Of course I was hoping to lose a bit more than that, but that does not seem to happen. And I am rather tired of fasting. Cleaning the house with an empty stomach etc, etc, I am also very happy about this Advent fast idea, because the Christmas goodies will be really special, not having had any yet. And my weight is a bit lower to start with, before the Big Eat. Sometimes there is plenty and other times very little food. That is what Intermittent fasting is about. :grin:
I'm in today, too. I'll try to do Wednesday and Friday, then I'll have a break while I'm at my Mom's. Maybe that would be a good time to start eating windows, if I can get her to let me skip breakfast!
