Glad to say that I've managed to do another fast today. It was cold in the office, lots of people brought leftovers for lunch or went out to get lovely smelling curries, a colleague bought everyone a dark chocolate Haigh's frog but I didn't give in. I had a stock cube for lunch, several pots of tea during the day and the chocolate is wrapped up in my drawer to have for morning tea tomorrow. My partner just gave me a small piece of cheese as he said I didn't need to lose any more weight... Sweet of him but not what I wanted. Anyway, I might have had some calories left (I don't count anymore). Good luck fellow fasters!
Wendy
Thanks Wendy for getting us started for the week. I hope your day goes well.
I am at the end of my fast day. I may have gone just over the 500 today, but I had to work until 8pm, then arrived home cold and tired so had some soup. All good though! :-)
All the best to everyone else fasting this Monday. :clover:
My first fast for ages today and half way through. I've been reading the forum to get inspiration to try again so here goes. Good luck to all .
That was very sweet of your partner, Wendy!

I'm in for a light day. I won't be strict with 500 calories, but I'll be less than 1000 with as small of an eating window as I can muster. I've had two espressos already and I've just made a lovely cup of black tea. I bought some beautiful cherries, so I will have 1/2 cup of yogurt and cherries for lunch. I'll have a salad for a snack if needed this afternoon, and a salad with some grilled chicken for dinner.
Fasting today, in Western Canada .... although I do start every morning with a cup of coconut oil coffee. I fast on Monday/Wednesday/Friday, eating only dinner on those days (and nothing after dinner the night before). I do not count calories, but am very good with portion sizes (now). It's been 3 1/2 months, and I've lost 8 lbs. SLOW progress, but feeling much better than I was. I've got about 25lbs more to release, and looking forward to it.

Thank you! This site has been quite helpful to me, while I figure out which IF method works best for me. I tried the Fast 5, but didn't like the constant clock watching. I tried 5:2, but didn't like the calorie counting. So, I have adjusted to the 4:3 with responsible eating, and am trying if for June. See how it goes from there!
I was in yesterday for my first fast of the week. Had a good day with nothing but tea and water then a yummy dinner of carrot and zuchinni spaghetti with a pea, leek and basil pesto and a sprinkling of cashew nut cheese for dinner. Planning my second fast on Thursday. Good luck to all the Tuesday fasters.
I was fasting yesterday as well. I was out of WiFi yesterday so could not report then.
I just wanted to report a happy result this morning.
I have been skipping all lunches and fasting every other day. Yet my weight was stuck at 58 kg for several days. This morning, though, the scales showed 57.8 kg. Hurrah! The 58 barrier has been broken! I have 5 more fast days left on this system and my BMI is now 22.58. Will I get down to 22.0 or not.... is the question
