I yet have to see a 'fasting today' page up on these pages. At least I managed to start one this time.
It is really quiet here.
I have not eaten anything today yet. I will have a snack at afternoon tea time (15:00). And I will not have any supper/dinner/ evening meal. WHY? Because tonight we're going out to a place where there will be sandwiches and things. I know, not exactly low carb - but it is the best I can do.
It is Monday today, and on Thursday I would have been on this regime for two weeks. I am hoping that the weight loss will start again, then. but still feeling good and finding this easy :grin:
Hi @Margotsyliva I hope your fast day went well! Good on you. How were the sandwiches?
I will be fasting tomorrow . After about 4 weeks of not fasting due to crazy work schedule I am getting back in the swing.

I'm here as usual for a Monday. Not much to report. I've been to aqua as usual and I'm off out for a walk with the girls shortly.My elder son gets married a week on Saturday and I'm not quite back to where I was when my younger son got married last year. Still the dress I am wearing is quite forgiving so should be OK.
Not sure about dinner tonight. I have some lean pork escalopes or some turkey steaks to use. Any ideas?
I'm in today; yes, it has been very quiet around here, many days I find no fasting today thread. :curse:

My last light day, Thursday, I changed it up a bit. First of all, I'd had a lot of trouble sleeping for several days, one thing or another, including what for Seattle was a heat wave (mid 80's to high 90's F); most homes do not have AC here, so it's pretty unpleasant. So I was feeling pretty icky Thursday morning, and at first I thought I'd just postpone my light day till Friday. (Of course, no guarantee I'd feel better then....) So I had my usual black coffee, then a fresh peach mid-morning. After that, I was feeling as good as could be expected (food wouldn't have made me feel better), so I just ran with it and ended up with a successful light day (I normally don't eat till 4pm when I have a cup of veggie broth). I also had a hardboiled egg and fizzy water in the afternoon.

This tells me it's OK not to slavishly follow my established pattern every light day, I can change it up when necessary and still be successful. Maybe it's because I don't usually eat much before noon (even on normal days), but I didn't find that the peach stimulated my appetite. Though I don't plan on doing it that way today, knowing that I don't HAVE to tough it out till 4pm is a nice feeling.
