I'm in today. So far so good. Black coffee. Tonight it's fish soup. Today I am busy in the kitchen, making creme fraiche and bottling plums. I can't eat any of that, so I'm out of trouble. May the Fast be with You.

Not going to say what I made because that'd be cruel and unusual punishment in this thread.
I am in today too to get the week off to a positive start. Lunch is warm lightly steamed cauliflower with a teaspoon or 2 of ricotta stirred through and a sprinkling of salty herb mix. Delish! Eggs for dinner.
How do you make your creme fraiche Sallyo? Is this simple to do at home?
cheers
I'm not fasting today as I had a colonoscopy this morning so as all I was allowed yesterday was clear fluids I am taking that in lieu of Monday this week. @MerryMelb I see you have a personal challenge to lose 2kg by Easter. You are welcome to join the Lenten Losers who are a diverse group with varying goals.

Let me know if you'd like to join.
Looking forward to that cleansed feeling.
I'm in today and looking forward to it. Probably soup or salad later tonight. Got dogs to walk and paintings to paint today so I will be busy.
love cilla xxx
I am now fully recovered from my fall downstairs and will be off to aquajog shortly - keep strong Monday fasters!
Have a great fast day everyone!
I start my fast from the day before, so last night I had a coconut oil stir fry of lots of different low carb veggies, fresh ginger, chillies, herbs and soy sauce with a Quorn fillet, and no alcohol. No calories at all the rest of the night. This morning just a big strong black coffee, then lots of carbonated spring water with a fresh lemon and lime and some mint cut up in it. Raw extremely low carb veg dipped in salt/pepper/chilli flakes for lunch and a cup of veg stock/tumeric powder "soup" with fresh coriander leaves chopped into it. Tonight I return to normal eating with ....I won't say, don't want to tease anybody! But it will be accompanied by a large glass of red. Sorry!
I am still the same weight as on 1st Jan 2016 (10 stone) but the 3" I have lost from my waist is still off, and I think I am losing more - hurray!

Hmm...what's that 'old' saying?
"Better over the hill than under it." ?
"You know you're over the hill when you pick you speed." ?
No. That's not it either...
"You know you're getting old when an "all nighter" means you didn't have to get up to pee." ?
Or maybe:
"Old age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill." ?
Wait, wait! Don't go! Just one more:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
