Good morning Monday fasters. Lovely morning here in Sydney for my first fast of the week. Tea, coffee and water all day then a vegan san choy bau for dinner. Have already racked up 5,500 steps so looking good to meet today's step goal of 13,200. How are you going to enjoy your fast day? With this year being a leap year I regard today as a sort of bonus day that we should all be thankful for. Happy fasting everyone. :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow:
All the best today @Pilchards with your Monday fast. Enjoy this last bit of warm weather. I'll be doing a Tuesday fast this week, but will hopefully be having a good TDEE day today.

cheers
I've also done 5,500 steps so far @Pilchards but I doubt I'll make it to 13,000 today (I did yesterday). Coffee, herbal tea and water till dinner tonight - Vietnamese-style chicken stir-fry with lots of veggies, no rice. Good luck fellow fasters!
Hi! Back on the forum after a long hiatus although I've still been fasting once a week. Have managed to put on a couple of kilos over the year so now back to 2 fasts weekly.
I've done my laps this morning, had a coffee and some water and will stick to herb tea till 5.30 vege soup with tuna and then some melon.
Have a good fast everyone!
Hello everyone. Welcome back @gigi55. I'm in today. I've had a pear with yogurt so far and it's fish for dinner. It's overcast here today. I love the 29th, absolutely a bonus. And I haven't done 5, 000 steps and it's a bit of a problem. I need to do them and more!
Hello everyone and welcome back @gigi55. I am in today as well. It will be a stressful week as Wednesday will be the first anniversary of my dad's passing and I have no idea how I will react to it. This will probably be a 4:3 week, today, Wednesday and Friday.
Good luck :clover:
Morning All, welcome back gigi55 and thoughts to Manderley (same situation for me last week, it's been a tough year)
Best wishes and successful fasting to everyone in the Australian sunshine - it's even sunny (and frosty!) here in UK!
Fast finished. Pretty successful. I did have tomato and cucumber and some ricotta cheese at lunch time. These days i am finding it easier to eat a bit during the day. I probably ate too much. But it wasn't a complete blow out, so all is good. Back for more on Wednesday.
Hi All Fasters today,
I started my fast early evening yesterday with stir fried veg in tiny amount of coconut oil and a quorn fillet and I've had carbonated spring water all day, with raw broccoli pak choi peppers cucumber and a tomato dipped in Jamaican spice mix for lunch. Daughter has requested Greek salad tonight for when I go back to normal .....will have to bump up the calories with extras - won't be hard! After doing this since January 1st I had lost 3" inches around my waist but no weight whatsoever. However when I checked on Sunday I had lost 2 pounds, so it really is working (starting from a BMI of 23 which is probably why it has been slow). It is getting easier every time, thanks to everyone's suggestions on the forum. I shall carry on for the health benefits.....and because I really like eating what I want without having to count calories! So happy to know I won't be a fat old lady!
I'm in today as well; just now having my cuppa broth (just after 4pm here), my first calories of the day. Putting some eggs on to boil; hardboiled eggs are a fave light day snack of mine. Hope y'all are having/had a successful light day!
