I seem to be having a fast day today - well, I got to dinner time without eating, and am committed (!) to not eating this evening, apart from something pre-bed if I am hungry then.

I wasn't hungry this morning, no doubt because of the amount of bread and sugary toppings I had yesterday... We took the dogs for a longish walk this morning, then we were busy cleaning up after our weekend away. It was mid afternoon by the time we got home, then I kept busy doing the washing and some singing practice until dinner time.

Not the most ideal fast day meal - macaroni cheese (a small serve at least) but the usual amount of veggies.

Anyone else in today?? :clover:
I'm in! It's 9:45am and I'm happy to report my weekend was reasonable and moderate. I stuck to my carb target yesterday, with 3g carbs to spare, and on Saturday, I only ate 80g carbs instead of my 125g target. I was satisfied with that so I left it.

I'm aiming to not eat until dinner, and then have a reasonable, low carb dinner tonight - a burger on whatever low carb creation I can find to put it on (possibly lettuce leaves).

I'm amazed you can wake up not hungry after indulging in sugar and bread last night! That usually makes me hungrier. Great job @Sassy1!
I'm not completely fasting, but sticking to my eating window after a somewhat indulgent eating weekend, sorta. I am VERY hungry! But soon I will go for a walk and take my car to be looked at, so by the time I get done it will definitely be time to eat my low carb lunch!

Very impressive Tracie! By-the-way, these are the low carb tortillas that I get! http://www.latortillafactory.com/view/p ... tortillas/

Good luck to you all day fasters!
I am happy with my fast day. I did have something to eat when I got in, but i do believe it was genuine hunger, so feel I have still met my commitment!

@Tracieknits, when I eat carbs like bread, cakes, biscuits, chocolate, etc, at the time I want to keep eating them. However, once I stop, I do realise I am full, and certainly the next day, if I have overindulged in these carbs, I am not hungry. Foods like bread, rice and pasta, do seem to fill me up for the longer term more than other foods. Though I don't feel good for having over eaten them.

Hope your fast day has gone well for you both! :clover:

Same brand as what I buy, but I find the "Extra virgin Olive Oil Soft Wraps" at Price Chopper's deli counter :-) 8g net carbs, after fiber, for a huge wrap. Although today I had a Trader Joe's reduced carb whole wheat tortilla for net 3g carbs. I filled it with salami and swiss and it made me surprisingly happy.
well I did get very hungry, so at about 2:30 I had a low carb tortilla with cheese and salami. Dinner was a burger, with a 29g carb bun. It was delicious! I also had a mini packet of crisps/chips (kettle chips, 3/4 of an ounce single serving packet) with a glass of brut champagne for apero. I'm still within range, even after making a gorgeous lentil salad for a party tomorrow and trying some. I seriously think I ate less than a tablespoon (I hope). Two small teaspoon sized tastes. That's it. Even if I'm super conservative and count the slice of onion I put on my burger, and the teaspoon of sriracha sauce, I think I'm at 52g carbs for the day.
