Fasting today, Monday, 6.3.
06 Mar 2017, 10:29
Hello you all,
I've been very busy and also somewhat out of range of Internet. But I window- Lent - fasted on Friday and Saturday as well. On Sunday I did not fast. But I found that I could not eat so much. So I even lost a 100 grams yesterday. since last Tuesday, when I started this lark, I've lost about 1 Kg and 800 grams (a kilo has a 1000 grams).. So the weight loss is slow in these early days. I know I have to wait a couple of weeks for my body to get along the system. But Lent is several weeks long, so I have plenty of time  In myself I feel so much better now when fasting than when I was eating quite a bit before  . I am still above the 60 kg mark, which is a lot for me  . It is a very sunny day outside and a bit frosty, so that cheers me up too. Hope you all are doing OK

I'm fasting today as well - day only just started, but I'm at the office, with a small snack for later, so no temptations and hopefully it'll go well.

I'm in as well today. The plan is some lean protein as late as possible, then veg soup and lean protein for dinner. I've had my two espressos already this morning. :)

@Margotsylvia - I thought of you as my husband flew to Helsinki today. He is headed to meetings at Tampere tomorrow, then on to Stockholm with the Finland team from his company for a proposal to a customer on Thursday. Looks like he's getting warmer weather there than we had this past weekend (when our high was a whopping -13C). :-)

I'm a bit late to the party but I'm in! Just cooking some chicken to have with a rocket, tomato and pesto salad and had plenty of lemon and ginger tea throughout the day  I've been a bit all over the place the last week or two when I've tried to switch fast days about - I'm clearly a creature of habit so will be trying my best to stick to Monday and Thursday at all costs!

I was in yesterday.
My calorie intake in the evening went out the window. Comfort eating - Work has gone nuts with huge upheavals impacting my future. I'm hoping to weather that and not give in too much to my indulgences.

Ugh, we've all been there, done that. I'm sorry sweetie. But hey, at least you were good during the day -- minimized the damage perhaps?
