Where is everybody? are you all on holiday? am I fasting alone? About time for my pot o' green tea...HELLO HELLO
Hi, FG. I'm fasting today.
Once about 15 years ago my daughter brought one of the classroom ferrets home for the school holiday. She thought they were great, but the rest of the family can only remember the smell. Do you have pet ferrets?
I'm in today, too. So far, so good.
I'm in :-) I've had a few ounces of deli turkey today (about 100 calories). I'll make a large salad with a chicken breast in about an hour. Defo looking forward to that!
Not fasting today - just being rather more careful than I have been recently! However, I did fast yesterday - the first one for a while as I have had my daughter and two granddaughters staying here for a couple of weeks. Even after three years at target, I still find it very easy to eat lots of rubbishy food when I have visitors or when I am away from home. It's a good job that a few fasts will get rid of the extra pounds - and the re-inflated spare tyre around my middle!
Well done to all of you fasting today. I hope that it went well for you. Onwards and downwards!
Hello @wendyjane--

I don't currently have any ferrets, just two older kitties...which is the main reason I don't have any ferrets right now! The elder kitty will be 17 this week (he's my avatar), and he's pretty spooky, I don't think he'd do well with ferrets. He hid for a month when we got our other kitty, who's 12 now.

I used to raise ferrets, they are a kick! At one point, I had 21 ferrets in the house, 9 adults and 12 babies (two different litters). I recently found a video online that shows how the famous "weasel wardance" isn't just a funny cute play method, but is used by wild weasels (ferrets are in the same family, Mustelidae) to confuse their prey...
 Today is my first day on this site, but I've been fasting today, but I just do water fasting on my 2-36 hour fasts per week for weight loss. I've done a lot of 24 hour fasts, but not very many 36 hour fasts, which are more powerful. I like it though.
