So I've officially started my every other day diet today. I packed a carefully planned 500 calorie lunch, and ate it around 3pm.

It's now 7pm, and I'm hungry, head achey, and grumpy.

I've done this diet in the past (last time was in august) but now that I think about it, I kind of half-assed the first week I tried it, where I think I was eating more like 800 calories on my diet days. I saw there was Weight loss, which got me excited and then I jumped down to the 500 calories ever other day.

I can't decide if I should just stick it out and jump in fully like I originally planned, or if I should ease myself in like I did last time...
If you are going to do it every other day, 800 calories might be better than 500. Or you could just consider doing 5:2 and sticking to the 500, 2 days a week. Also, most people try to save the calories until dinner time, so then they don't have to wait too long to go to bed! Just some suggestions! Good luck!
