Fasting today? Sat 3rd August.
03 Aug 2013, 11:02
Hi, I know Saturday isn't the most popular fast day but I have been feeling a bit sluggish and the scales weren't favourable this morning so having an extra one this week. Not up to much today so not too difficult to fit in. Lots of water being consumed and waiting to use my 500 calls at teatime.
Hope everyone has a good weekend. X
Me too. Just having lunchtime bowl of graze porridge (145k) then will try a Sainsburys 'free from' chicken hotpot (266k) for evening meal. Doing plenty of gardening, so keeping busy!
I'm in, switched from M/W/F to T/T/S - no problems so far
Yes, me! This is my first post I've been doing the 5:2 diet for a week & my fasting days change depending on my need for a break from food! Yesterday I had too many cupcakes so I'm having a calorie restricted day today. So far so good I've had a busy morning but the evenings are the hardest for me so we will see... I have just bought all the ingredients to make a quorum stir fry so that should fill me up. My belly is definitely not happy about missing lunch!!!x
Well made it to 2.30! Had an Apple to keep me going. Feel better now that I have fasted. Will enjoy my evening meal :) hope everyone's day is passing ok too. X
Hungry and still over an hour til dinner
Just had dinner, and feeling full! Much better fast for me than last Monday's, thank goodness! Hope all goes well for everyone else today.
Started 5:2 today! Excited and nervous.... And a bit hungry! :-)
Feeling better after dinner. Silverdarling - same here, best fast this week. Think I was a bit static and needed to go back to basics. I've drank lots of water and green tea today. Feel as though I have had a good detox.
Enjoy your Saturday evening. x
Just popping in, it's midday here so my days pretty much just started. I'll be fasting today and tomorrow, nothing majorly planned so fasting should be bearable.

Glad to hear u guys made it though most of the day!
Hope your fast weekend is going well. Just had breakfast here mmmmmmmmmmmm!
Just thinking about brek now, having read gillymary's latest contribution over on the 'butter' thread ...
Hi all, another Sat faster here.... ive already completed my normal 2 days (Tues/Thurs), but i can't do my 2 next week so thought ide pop an extra one in this week...not sure if i had a weight loss after my last fast as i have not weighed yet, will wait until tomorrow now....feels good to have done 3 in one week... x oops just realised ive posted on the wrong date
@silverdarling Sorry for any salivation last Saturday with the butter on your fast day :( , the butter was so easy to make I think I will continue to make my own from now on in. No dyes or preservatives just double cream and big salt flakes. Think I have only used said butter 3 times but I feel a cake coming on prior to the cream's use by date.
