Good morning! Who is joining me today?

I had quite a feast day yesterday with friends visiting for lunch and then eating lots of leftovers for tea... I managed to avoid the added sugar products, but did have a lot of meat, cheese, nuts and fruit...

Now I need to finish my morning cuppa and take the dogs for their walk before the rain arrives.

Good luck to all who are weekend fasting! :clover:
Hello Sassy1, here it's still Friday... Soon soon, though

See you later all
M
I'm with you Sassy1@ Skipped my second fast this week so having to do a weekend one (because I still appear to be eating on non fast days like i did Christmas week. )

Mahalo - love your avatar and clever emoticons.
I agree, @Roglow - @Mahalo, you are very clever with your emoticons! :)

I know what you mean about Christmas-time eating, Roglow. It sort of helped that I was away during the time that I was overeating, so arriving back home a week ago meant getting back into better eating habits. Apart from yesterday's indulgence, I have managed my intake quite well - but it has seemed like a long week! Tomorrow will be my first weigh-in since returning and if the scales are ok, I will allow myself to relax a bit. :)

Mahalo, do you mind sharing whereabouts in Germany you live? I have only been to a couple of places - Passau and Mannheim/Heidelberg, with a little bit of local-ish sightseeing when there.
Image Hello downunder and fasters everywhere,

Berlin calling  Having my first coffee. Thanks for the smiley compliment. I just love them that is why I put energy into finding and using fun ones. The spray girl comes from a site called smileygenerator dot us yet the site seems down right now (I checked it before I was about to mention it). You can make her write your own stuff, that's fun.

I 've switched from 5:2 into 4:3 mode because of my Christmas "outbursts" and eating flashs. That was my signal to get back on track and it worked. (Had no weigh in yet so I can not report results yet, I mean hard kg facts, just my mind has focused back on "healthy" again). I had donated quite a bunch of sweets and pastry to railway mission on Christmas eve. Gosh, that was hard to see so many people there waiting for the doors to open, also many children... they were residents of the city no travellers  Maybe I had bought far too much subconsciounsly just because the food was meant to leave me on that day... (I tend to see a reason in things I do or don't do... okay, some may follow me in that.)

I am wishing all of us a happy FFF
will drop by again for being connected with you on FD feels good
M

Uhm, being connected with other FD followers feels good every day, of course, yet especially on FD
Good luck Saturday fasters. Hope its a good one
Count me in. Good luck to all fasting today - hope its an easy one. :clover:
To me it's a bit tough again :starving: When I had dinner yesterday - not at home - I was not really satisfied for it was a small falafel plate really (I would not have called it "plate" at all to be honest). Thus my dinner felt like FD and today I am really hungry. Well, I will have salmon with spinach at 7 p.m. (three more hours to go, woe  )

Let's keep it up (I will stick with my self-commitment no matter how hungry I feel  )

M  :victory:
I'm in too for my usual Saturday fast. Got up late, which helped. Have been on water and had mint tea at the coffee shop, with hubby having a toasted sandwich! Will have a Bovril shortly to get me through till tea around 7pm. Then a milky coffee to round the day off about 9pm. Tomorrow there are crumpets!!
You can do it Mahalo :clover: :clover: and an interesting reminder why some fasts might be tougher. Perhaps your friend thought they were doing you a favour
You are probably all done already, but I am in for today. it's only going into evening here. thank you for all the support, have a great day. See you next week.
Just quickly read through the posts above. I am in the car on our way to do a 11km hilly bush walk - cool and cloudy today, so good conditions. Hope everyone is going/ went ok with the fast. :)

I associated a lot with Mahalo's comments re Christmas food purchases, using 4:3 and fasting again! I had trouble yesterday and probably ended up consuming 7-800 cals. That's ok tho. Bush walk today might help compensate, though I will be allowing myself some carbs!!

Best wishes for those finishing their day. :) :clover:
