Fasting today Saturday 22 March
22 Mar 2014, 07:47
Morning all. I couldn't find a thread for this so have started this - my first one! Feel a bit lonely. Am I the only one fasting today?
Never fear @Motherof2 I am here!!

Just put some white toner on my hair and am now perusing this forum before taking the girls out for a stroll. On the menu tonight is a delish omelette as suggested by @SianS a while ago. This time I hope to remember the ham

Hope today is a good one!

I'm in today. I planned to do 4/3 last week but had a failed attempt yesterday, so am hoping to make up for it today. Why does this seem to be getting harder?

Off to yoga - good luck @Motherof2 and @nursebean
I'm in today. Actually, it's almost bedtime here!
Hi ladies. Glad to see I'm not alone today. Have been busy but my mind is on food. Will be ironing soon because I need to do something to keep my mind off the desire to feed! Hope your day has been easier than mine - and its not over yet!
Yes I must admit I do keep thinking about my omelette and I've just seen that Arsenal have lot 6-0 to Chelsea, which has basically ended our chances of winning the title. Where's my Dairy Milk?

I'm guessing I'm in today too. Its almost 1300h here and all I've had so far today is tea, and my OH is working this evening which will help me avoid temptation! I'm making up for a poor fast last week, although the scale still moved in the right direction!

I guess I'll have to plan dinner, maybe spaghetti squash and chicken breast baked with pasta sauce. After years of avoiding spaghetti squash I have realized I love it!

Good luck to all the Saturday fasters out there!
Just had my omelette followed by a lemon mousse...and now,I can't stop thinking of food

Sounds delicious ... and good luck with your hunger pangs. Remember, you can always have it tomorrow

It's approaching 3pm here and I keep having to remind myself "tomorrow, tomorrow" so nothing has passed my lips so far other than liquids, I'm scared if I start I won't be able to stop

Good luck everyone - hang on in there even if it feel like its by your fingernails
Wish tomorrow would hurry up and come!!

We've had a gorgeous day today, a balmy 10 C so it felt like spring. I was able to distract myself until 5, had my dinner (540 calories) and I'm now relaxing ... and I really could murder a handful or nuts, or figs, or a banana or even some broccoli and hummus ... I had a small handful of sunflower seeds so I'm closer to 600 calories which I'll be very pleased with if I can end the evening at that

Yeah @nursebean wish tomorrow would hurry up and come
Sad to say I went over 500 calories last night. Couldn't resist the Tuc cheese sandwich crackers. Had about 5 of them and at 72 cals each...! Plus a banana. All this on top of my dinner. Today I will be sticking to eating the slimming world way.
