Can't believe it's nearly dinner time and I'm the first to post???

Feeling a bit hungry today, cold & windy in Melbourne. But I've taken my step-dog for a jog to keep warm, and I'm just about to do some HIIT, first one since my return from up north. That will defo warm me up! Probably some Jamie Oliver 15 min vege chili for dinner, plus a couple of boiled eggs. My first proper fast in just over a week, had been eating out heaps up on the Gold Coast.

Good luck, Saturday fasters!
I am here, I am here !!!! Third fast of the week. Well, not really as Tuesday was "Pizza night" so, even if I didn't eat all day, I had half a pizza with OH.

Today will be a courgettes soup, home made, of course. It's a good thing, I guess, we have such a crappy summer right now
I'm dithering over whether or not to sneak a cheeky fast in today. Yesterday was weigh day and I lost 3lb. Then made the mistake of having bacon and eggs for brekkie. I thought I'd be ok as I didn't have the toast, but noooooooooooo.........
I proceeded to eat loads and loads of carbs for the rest of the day. I didn't even attempt to log it all, so today might make up for that!
Hey @Jools7
Hope today's fast is going well for you buddie. :like:
Good luck all 3 of you :clover: :clover:
I'm not in with you today but I'm doing 18:6 so getting a good fasting time in before a light lunch,
followed by 3 course evening meal with friends that will include a couple of glasses of red of course.
@Karenm we all have those days once I eat it does wake up my hunger monster and he gets very determined to ruin my day, if you only repair with a low calorie cautious day that should work in your favour. :clover: :clover:
I did a sort of half fast today: fasted as usual but had a normal dinner (Thai food! Yum!)
Just finished cooking the lovely courgettes soup for tonight. Put some cream cheese in it and it really tastes wonderful I even have 200 calories to spare
Courgette soup sounds lovely @manderley,
Our dinner is cooking - pork loin steaks roasted with peppers, onions and mushrooms, mashed swede and spring greens with gravy. There are some new potatoes roasting for OH, but I'm planning on avoiding those
The springing challenge is keeping me motivated as I'm a tad competitive with myself. My biggest challenge will be learning how to maintain weight loss! :bashful:
I've had a headache again today, I think I need to track my fluids as I believe I've had enough to drink, but if I have, why the headache? :?:
Keep up the good work you fabulous Saturday fasters :clover:
That sounds wonderful as well, @Karenn  Is it a bit weird to not be able to eat solid food on a fast day ? For me it must be only liquid which explain the compulsive making of soup
I love soup and even bought a soup maker earlier this year. I would like to try a liquid fast, but I'm a wuss
Hope the day went/ is going well for Satday Sizzlers x
@karenm i too can't quite tackle a liquid day..i think i did one..it was liquid but not zero cals...THAT is out of the question for me,totes!x
Ooh, @Manderley, can you give up the recipe? Courgettes soup (we call it zucchini in Aus) sounds yummy!
Fast completed at 394 cals.
Bit gutted as OH has said he isn't enjoying fasting this time around and doesn't want to do it anymore :frown:
That's gonna make future fasts tough
