Hellooooo! Oh dear.....Billy-No-Mates am I???

This will be my 3rd fast of the week....& I've chosen to go 4:3 this week on account of tomorrow! Not only is it Mother's Day, but it is also my husband's birthday.....which of course means cake!!!

So, in view of the roast dinner, apple pie & custard & cream (is there any other way?!) and birthday cake that will surely be on offer....once I've made it.....I thought I'd better throw in an extra fast!!

Plus, having done 2 fasts & not seen any movement on the scales midweek, when I stepped on yesterday after a 3 mile jog, I had dropped a bit, hurrah.....so I want to ensure that when I officially weigh in on Monday, I am a little closer to my Easter target.

Had a lovely lunch out yesterday, so couldn't fast.....hence having to do it today!

Good luck anyone who might be joining me.

Hello @Hazelnut20 :)
I'm with you today! I have been staying the same weight for ever (maintaining early?!) so thought I'd fast today and then I can enjoy tomorrow without guilt! Also, the rest of the family is so busy today, so it's easy to do my own thing. Looking forward to a 500 meal tonight though!
Hope you have a lovely mothers day and birthday celebration tomorrow - and big respect if you're baking the cake while you're fasting! :like:
Very best of luck to you two stalwart gals fasting on a saturday! And enjoy yourselves tomorrow! :like: :clover: :like:
Hello yes I am fasting today, sometimes find a Saturday the easiest not being around work people munching through the day!! X
I'm fasting today too because of mothers day temptations, cake etc. So this morning did a 120 minute 2.03 mile swim (that 0.3 could be very important...), 60 minute walk, 120 intense cooking activity, followed by meal of 5 Veg with 50g (lite) fried chinese noodles and 40g tvp. Not sure if fasting on an exercise day is recommended but I feel fine, so probably ok.
Lovely to have your company ladies & thank you @CandiceMarie for your supportive words - it means a lot!

Could I have a double gold star please @Doodle? As I type this, I am cooking pancakes for my husband!! Making the birthday cake in a mo....but I think I need something to eat now (my trusty Lemon Rasam soup) as my brain is feeling a bit woolly & spaced out.

Hope you are all doing well & big respect for the mega exercising today @wasafan...what's that all about? Are you in training for Iron Woman or something?!! You must be shattered.....

Girls, we're nearly there! Well done us....xxx

I don't feel too bad. It's a Swimathon 5k for charity, so hopefully I can get fitter and raise a few quid for a worthwhile cause. That lemon thing sounds good....roll on brekky.
Good on you @wasafan is there somewhere i can go to to sponsor you?
And who did you used to be a fan of! X
I was and still am a huge fan of Wasa rye crispbread (especially the type described on the packet as Original, Authentique or Roggen Dunn depending on which country I buy it in). It isn't that easy to get in England - my local Asda has 27 varieties of Ryvita which (for me anyway) doesn't taste much of rye.

It's extremely kind of you to think of sponsoring me @ Candice-Marie. I only signed up for this a few days ago, and I need to start thinking about the money as well as the physical challenge. I have until end of April to complete it, aiming for 27 April, and my giving page is http://my.sportrelief.com/sponsor/donnahancock

Many thanks for your support. I have now got off my butt and written to Facebookers to drum up interest, so hopefully that will work out well. Onwards and upwards !
