Please don't make extra threads in here besides the daily fasting threads, if you've got a question please post it in the relevant forum or ask in today's 'Fasting Today' thread, thank you.
When tomorrow comes here in the UK I will join you for a sort of semi fast where I'll fast all day because I'm out for meal Sat night + will eat + yes the red will flow Sue
Have a great and groovy fasting day x
No fasting for me but no dindins tonight as still full after enormous delicious lunch which nevertheless has left me feeling stuffed and nauseous...this 5:2 lark really does bring about changes doesnt it..my digestive system can no longer cope with lots of food like it used to!
I managed to do well on my fast day yesterday, until I ate too much at the evening meal last night - and then ended up having a 'carb attack' with toast, butter and vegemite!
cheers Maggie.
I'm in today because of yesterday's fail. I'm trying two days in a row for the first time ever tomorrow. I have a party on Monday.
nursebean wrote: Is it difficult fasting on a Saturday? This coming week I'm going to be trying the 4:3 for the first time (on Monday, Wednesday, Friday). I was going to do Sunday, Tues, Thurs but my mum was horrified because Sunday is the day we have wine and Sunday lunch! Oh boy
When I first started I found weekend fast days easier than weekdays. I would keep busy with mindless chores on the weekend. It kept me from feeling hungry.
Nursebean I fast when I can be my most chilled out, which usually is when I don't have too much on. Also want to not have to say no loss for the weigh in. I often fast on a Saturday if I haven't managed to fit my 5:2 in during the week. MWF sounds like a excellent idea so you can relax on weekends and have those special Sundays with your mum, enjoy
Thanks everyone for your encouragement appreciated
