It looks like I'm the first again today. saturday is NOT a popular day for fasting it seems.

I have a busy day planned today. Fun stuff, such as making a fold away table for the dining room, or we will be eating Christmas Day lunch on our laps. Ever since my eldest son had to move back in, my little 'office' has taken over the dining room. The plan is that if I move the chair here and shove the filing cabinet there I can fit in a flip down table there. As they don't have exactly what I want in the shops I will have to make it myself with the fairly able help of my two sons. Either that or I will chase them out of the shed waving a saw above my head at their arguing.
I am the only one ????

It's a surprise one but I found a yummy soup which should make that fast pretty special. It's my third this week after Tuesday and Wednesday. Tomorrow will be a big day with a heavy meal (raclette so cheese, meat, potatoes) so I want to prepare properly for it
Oooops Julie, we began a topic a the same time.....
Nope, I just posted exactly the same. @Moogie can you blend this post and mine please.
Lol, just the three of us then?! I don't find it particularly difficult to fast on a Saturday - it's just another normal working day for me. And the OH is away this week so I can do what I want for dinner.

I'm thinking courgette/carrot noodles with some spicy tomato sauce - need something to warm me up!
I am enjoying half of the most delicious soup ever.....And in the afternoon I'll have cup of Christmas tea to keep me warm until dinner. I find fasts days more enjoyable in winter than in summer, even if I am freezing cold

Not Moogie but I merged the threads together so it will be easier to keep each other company on a day with few fasters. ;)
Thank you @Betsysgr8 . Its looking like its going to be liquid fast today. My fasting partner, my son, has a tummy bug so he's not eating today, so I might as well join him. Hubby and son number 2 will be ham egg and chips, with some peas on the side. Nice and easy, though the smell will probably make my stomach growl.
I am looking to the Victoria pineapple I bought earlier for the dessert tomorrow with envy.. It's a small kind, very flavorful, sweet, juicy, the most delicious thing you could eat without any guilt but right now I'll have to do with the 100cal hot chocolate I'll have in an hour or two
Looks like I'm doing a half-fast with you Manderley and Julie. BF left before breakfast to do a "quick" repair job for a local church and still isn't back (11am now). So I'm still waiting and I think I can wait for a few hours more. :)
I don't usually fast on Saturdays but,as tomorrow lunch will be very heavy, I had no choice

I don't know if many people fast during that busy time of year, the forum will probably fairly empty the next 2 weeks
I was fasting today too, it went well, i made it through to dinner easily, and now I'm in bed. The only issue today was that I am freezing, I had to fight the urge to have a second bath this pm.
Fasting over Christmas will be the 23rd and the 28th for me.
Same here, Julie, and there will maybe be a third one the 26th
