Hello, any Sunday fasters out there! Beautiful autumn day in Melbourne today, don't know whether I can resist going out on my bike, even though I'm supposed to be catching up on my tax.

Thinking of a chilli con carne for tonight, or maybe a home-made garlicky hummus with raw veges to dip?

Good luck to anyone who's joining me, although I suspect there won't be many of us?
I am in for Sunday fast as usual, only will be my second liquid fast. Lost 2 lb. after last liquid fast (and gained back one) but overall, I am past my Easter challenge and no longer in overweight BMI :victory:
Have bought lots of instant miso soup if things get tough but 1st one was incredibly easy.
Good luck everyone :like: :clover:  :clover: :like:
@judithn. Congrats on reaching your target! I might liquid fast tomorrow. Still Saturday here. I always feel behind the rest of the world living here.
Thank you @rawkaren for your support. You sound down. It must be very hard being so far away from your base of support in the UK. I am only 3 hours from you so am kind of like a way-station between you and them.

From reading your posts, this new job has been great but difficult at the same time. I hope you don't feel alone because there are people, literally from all over the world, who care and worry about and cheer for you. You are a very special person in this community. Please stay engaged with us. We love you and love to hear from you and only want success for you; in all facets of your life; not just 5:2. :like:   :like:
@judithn. Your words of kindness have made me cry. Thank you. It's so lovely to have friends here. OH is still in the UK and unwell. He won't hear of me coming home until we have a prognosis so I'm so comforted by all of your support. Thank you so much
Hang in ther @rawkaren we're holding you up at your back. Hope hubs gets better, not knowing is always tough.
I'm in today, first Sunday for a couple of weeks. Back on the straight and narrow for me. It's Holy Week, so planning to be very virtuous (ahem) and get back to 4:3.
Beloved is due back from Hell this afternoon and Diving Daughter will be home for her days off. I'll cook something good for them, probably involving bacon and alcohol as they have been denied and have my poached eggs.
good luck @jools7, @judith and @rawkaren and anyone else in today :clover:
I am in for Sunday too before our Melbourne meet tomorrow :) Wasn't sure if I would manage a fast today as I had a morning tea to attend, but successfully resisted all the goodies. Have been in the garden this pm, and have just started dinner preparation so not too long now til some food!!

Best wishes to @janeg, @rawkaren (extra hugs), @jools7 (see you soon), @judithn and all other fasters. :)
You brave and determined woman Sassy!! I failed in the face of hubbies sausage butties for brekkie and another Philippa's hot cross bun, but I am with you in spirit as I know the carbs aren't for me all the time.
It had been a good lesson though to really see what the bread does for me. I think I'll just be having some yoghurt for dinner instead of pasta now.

When do you expect a prognosis rawkaren? I know it's hard isn't it being so far away, I feel for you especially with illness there in the background. Hopefully you are still skyping every day.
@sassy1, looking forward to seeing you tomorrow - yes I'm just cooking dinner now too. Now, at the risk of outing you, I've just had a look at your progress tracker (awesome!) but haven't you had a fastiversary this week? hope it was a good one!

see you tomorrow!
Sure have @jools7! I hope this takes you to somewhere near my fastiversary post in the Fastiversary tent :)

(I will check once I have submitted this post) just checked, I think I am post 152 in that thread. On my iPad it's on page 11- I am not sure how this forum looks on other devices tho. Anyhow, I am sure you will be able to find it!

I'm in. I've cheated a bit today since I did a long training run (half-marathon is next Saturday). But I'll probably be in at about 600cals today, so not too bad.

Congrats, @judithn and hugs @rawkaren.
oooh, @Sassy1, I see you in the fastiversary tent! I guess I haven't been there as much as I should have been!! Huge congrats! Amazing the bit "lighter than I've ever been as an adult" - WOW! So inspiring!
Hey @Debs

It's easier to resist goodies after an evening of NO resistance!!!!! Well, sometimes...

How dare your hubby make such yummy food if you were hoping to fast! I'll have to have a word with him tomorrow!! :D :D :D As long as you enjoyed your mini carb feast tho - I am sure you did. :)

See you soon :)
@rawkaren just read your OH is unwell. I'm sorry things are bad for you at the moment, I'm a long way away but I'm sending a huge hug and best wishes.
Good luck super sunday fasters x
