Fasting today Sunday 15th Dec
15 Dec 2013, 09:53
Just me again? Surely not!
Strange one for me. Didn't have a lot to eat yesterday, with my main meal at 4pm and in bed by 7pm (too much working, not enough sleeping), so I'll see how I get on.
It's nearly 2pm here so looks as though it'll be a successful full day fast.
Oh, and the aspirational trousers can go down to my ankles without being undone! How did that happen from July 'til now?
Not complaining mind you
Had a three course dinner with wine last night and this morning I feel pretty awful, I just can't eat and drink large quantities any more and my body is complaining. You can't not eat when you're entertaining.
Fasting today and it's quite a relief! I hope I feel better later on because right now I feel a bit buzzy and jangly (best way to describe it).
Is it just you and me janeg??? Good grief! I am getting a really hungry now, but soon time to have my boiled egg.
sunday fasting is a cosy wee group as usual!
It's after 6 here and I've still not eaten yet.
Tree day today (although I don't put a tree up in the sandpit)
It's usually 17th Dec (man's birthday) but, as Beloved and myself are tootling off to Budapest tomorrow, and diving daughter is home tonight, we'll be a bit premature. This may lead to extra calories in goodies and drinks. Or not!
I am in also. Sunday is a usual fast day for me. Also my "official" weigh-in day and scale says I've gained 4 lb. since Fri!! :curse: Pub meal Fri and house party yesterday. Feel awful from too much food and wine and very disappointed. Was on track to reach Christmas goal, now not so much.
Looking forward to repairing some of this disaster with a fast today. Fingers crossed and good luck, fellow fasters. :clover: :clover:
It can't be fat gain Judithn, it must be just water. :crossed:
A little late coming on line, I'm fasting today and sticking to juicing. I figured I can get 3 good juices with 500 calories as long as I stay away from fruit.

2 justices down, one left to go and I don't feel hungry!!

I had overindulged since Monday last so felt really good fasting today. :)
Hi

I've been "fasting" today too - I am maintaining so it isn't quite as hard to do as when you are trying to lose weight, I am eating more than I would in that case but less than on a "normal" day.

Sunday fasters have always been a select group since I joined the forum (Feb this year). But its a good day for me as I have usually over indulged on Saturday!
Rachel, I'm with you - I find Sunday fasting easier than my second fast day which is a Thursday, I think it has a lot to do with it being the end of the week/beginning of a new one so wanting to purge from the weeks eating and anticipating new beginnings ;-)
